No game is ever perfect....and nothing proves that point more than Infinity Wards latest cash-cow Modern Warfare 2. Now dont get me wrong, its a fantastic game in a lot of ways but there are some....ok..a lot of things that make me just wanna do things to it that involve fire and such. I know im not the only one, so vent your anger here and post your MW2 pet-peeve.

Il will start with probably the most popular Online hate.......MAGIC BULLETS..Grrrrrr !!!!
what do you mean magic bullets? do you mean someone with FMj shooting you through a wall or host advantage where it seems you are around a corner but to him you aren't?

Can someone explain to me what a pet-peeve is? I've heard it all over the place and i have no idea what it is, if someone would like to take some time to quote me it i'd be thankful. I'll be sure to tack on an imaginary biscuit.

Once i find out, i'll be able to give a 'strong', thoughtful opinion.

Stinger glitch. Abuh...nothing worse than getting killed like that.

That or the "extended knife" perk. Drives me mad.

The recoil of the weapons in multiplayer resembles that of being kicked in the chin by a muel while riding a unicycle while bouncing in an inflatable fun house.

The fact that, although killing russian civilians brings a warm smile to my otherwise desolate stone heart, theres no way to skip it when my sister's boyfriend's father comes to visit. Bare in mind hes a reverand.
Observation not your strong point, eh?
Its as finally tuned as your conversational skills.
Touche... I like you. You made me laugh at myself.

To expand a little, the game gave you two prompts at the beginning asking if you want to skip the 'disturbing' content, and you can pause it and skip the level at any time.
Thank you! I like you too.

To be perfectly honest, I didn't really notice any disclaimers at the beginning, and I've never even thought of the prospect of a skip level function on the start menu. Besides, by the time I even realised it was THAT scene, my head was turned and the onslaught had begun, I know its not really the game's fault but... You know.

EDIT: By the way, my head was turned because my sister screamed my name from the kitchen after she needed help, only for her boyfriend to shut her up and help her himself, God bless him.

Totally wasn't jeering, despite how disturbing.
Yep, I certainly wouldn't want my family to watch me playing that scene either... it would confirm what they think about my gaming habit (not good)

Honestly I thought it was a bit OTT, like IW were desperately trying to cause some controversy.

I see where it fit in with the story but I think it would have worked better as a first person cutscene.

Asking players to murder innocents in such a clearly realistic and harrowing manner just doesn't sit right with me.

Then again, I couldn't even harvest the little sisters or blow up Megaton, so my evil streak in gaming is a little underwhelming at the best of times. I feel bad for those little computer men.

Akimbo
Hell yes! Is it just me or does the accuracy go up when you use akimbo 1887s?

Most recently, for me anyway, the Javile-rocket-improvised-martyrdom glitch.

Seriously?

I found them to be pretty much recoil free.

If you think they have a lot of recoil try using the AK47 or MP5 in COD4.

Something, an issue, an object, that you personally dislike/hate. Wikipedia [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pet_peeve] explains it pretty well, I've never been that good at explanations.

Anyway. The whole "perk->pro perk" thing? Cool idea, but when I'm frantically pouring half a clip into an enemy who just turned a corner, and their Stopping Power Pro allows them to put me to sleep with ONE round, it really gets on my nerves.

Oh, and akimbo 1887s. God damn those things are annoying. Instant-kill button. Basically, almost anything akimbo is annoying to a certain extent - akimbo .44s are amazingly powerful as well, and akimbo automatic weapons (PP2000/G18/Vector)..... just wtf? How can you fire two high-powered weapons with a helluva kick (Ranger, SMG) at the same time and not break your damn wrists? Is it because the Master Chief "proved" that it's possible?

Also the ACR. Even beside the fact that it's an amazingly ugly gun, I can't begin to count the times some douchebag with a holo-sight utterly pwned me with it in half a second. Especially when they're camping. I don't know what it is, it's just such a horriffically douchebag-y gun.

More minor pet peeve: I've never really liked the holographic sight reticle, even in the M16A4 Grenadier in the original MW. I don't know why. I prefer the Red Dot or the ACOG.

I would also have to say that having you play as a character who dies in the singleplayer is getting a little bit old. It was really creepy in the first game when you got nuked, but it seemed to get a little ridiculous in this game.

I get ticked off when I keep seeing the same name coming up after I die....I really really then go out to kill that man....with a predator drone.

The fact that the whole game is based on luck
The fact that the amount of perks and additions to your character makes you look good, so people that do good think they're great
The fact that it's full of campers
The fact that the perks and guns are unbalanced
The fact that the maps are tiny arena's and are horribly designed
The fact that a person can see you from a balcony with their whole upper body clearly showing on the kill-cam when all you could see is a head and a tiny bit of shoulder
Lag

Sniping still requires generally little skill.
Care to elaborate? Sniping is the only thing in the game that actually requires some amount of skill. Any moron can spray with an AR or SMG and do well.

Now if you meant camp sniping requires little skill, then I might agree with you. But good snipers don't camp.

Stopping Power Pro does not increase the damage you deal to players, it increases the damage you deal to air support with bullets. You may want to revise your complaint either to lag or people who are better than you, as it seems a more likely cause of your problems.

The tiny bullet drum of AA12 and the fact that I could not replace the bullets with mini grenades. Seriously, that gun is SOOOO much better in real life! Well, it still is my weapon of choice, along with AK47 and D-eagle.

I don't have it for my 360 yet (Well, and my Live subscription ran out. I'm waiting to get one for Christmas so no live until then), but I have played it alot online at my friends house. Personally, I actually thought the multi-player was pretty decent on the 360. I never use a headset and I just mute everyone in-game, so I don't have to worry about pre-pubescent boys screaming in my ear. The only gripe I have, and its a minor one, is that I miss some of the Modern Warfare 1 maps. I hope they release some of them in a map-pack sometime.
