I don't drink at all, and never plan to, after the time me and some friends came home from the pub (i'd had diet coke, they'd done tequila), and I had them licking the windows of every shop we passed.

Why did I make them do this? Because they couldn't stop me.

I never want to be that out-of-control.
I wouldn't say that constitutes being "out-of-control", more just incredibly suggestable. Everything seems like a good idea when you're drunk enough.

Depends on the situation, sometimes I stop after a few but other times I stop/pause at about 6am...

I don't drink (well, the odd glass of rose with a meal). But if I did, I'd always stop before I got drunk. Mainly because I do enough stupid things sober.

I enjoy a few drinks, but I'm not the binge drinker I used to be.

Lately I havent had more than 8-10 drinks in a night, and thats over a fairly long night.
I find that I don't need to, I enjoy myself without drinking until I am stumbling around.

It doesnt help that my family has a history of alcoholics, so I find it hard to limit myself sometimes, and often find myself just 'wanting a few beers' after work.

What is the status quo on drinking? do you find it unattractive if a person is "too" drunk? I personally stop at about 4 beers, because I don't like to get to the point in which I cannot control my actions.
...and 4 beers is that point? Really? My infant niece can probably pound a six pack and still drive.

Personally, if I'm gonna bother with booze at all, It's all or nothin. I don't drink unless I plan on throwing caution to the wind and waking up in the bed of a strange female that I didn't remember meeting. It's the only way to fly.
Thats kind of an immature way of thinking. Yes I can drink a six pack (16oz, 8 reg. beers) myself and have many times. My point is is you set your limit low, your tolerance will lower also. Less money spent, less alcohol wasted when your already tipsy, less regrets, etc. Unless your one of those people who have no regrets, nope, I wouldn't believe it. The road to alcoholism/std/regret/brokeness is not something I want to see.

Oohh, there are so many nominees:

When I all of a sudden realize I'm standing in my drive-way and seven hours has magically passed

When the girl I'm going to bed with is the same as the one I seem to remember being fugly when I first saw her

When I'm signing up as a Jehovas witness (true story)

The point where I don't fall and hit the ground, the ground comes up and smack me in the face

When I buy fifteen pineapples and try to sleep on them (once again, true story)

When I'm playing hockey without pucks, sticks or skates

When I run around trying to be every superhero and villain in the history of superheroes... at the same time...

also, when I have to sit to take a piss...

Woah, I really should give up drinking, shouldn't I...
Jehovahs Witness....The one true religion.

I need to drink dangerous amounts to actually be drunk. Dunno why. I once went to a booze up where nobody actually wanted to drink except me. I drank anough for 12 people and was slightly merry at the end of it. Had plenty of food too which helps but still...
People who are too drunk are seriously unnatractive, but it does depend on how that person acts when theyre drunk where the line of 'too drunk' is.

Wow lotta drinkers here. Just wait till your metabolism slows down and you start packin on the pounds. Oh yeah, it's gonna happen. I try and keep it to two beer max, but usually I can do six in the course of a lazy day and still find it enjoyable.

I don't drink too often, usually only when I'm celebrating something with my mates. But when I do I drink until I can't physically drink any more or until I have to leave. Speaking of alcohol it was the summer bbq in my college today, where they served alcohol. Nothing better then ditching class to drink and play a lan of CoD.

I don't stop even when i've had too much. All of my friends do the same thing. Like there was this one time at La Vela in Panama City Beach for Spring Break I had a fifth of tequila, about 18 beers, and some irish car bombs (pint of Guiness with a shot of irish cream and irish whiskey 50/50) before we left the condo. Got to La Vela kept taking tequila shots and drinking beers at which point i fell down the stairs and busted my face, almost sliced my upper lip in 2. Security helped me up and said I needed to go to the Emergency room to get stitches and all i kept telling them was give another shot and a beer and i'll be OK. It was fun until i woke up the next afternoon and didn't remember what happened until my friends started saying how funny it was when i fell. Just so you know i never went to the ER and everything was fine until the second day when it really started hurting.

I don't drink often. But if I am with my partner and surrounded by people I know, I usually just let loose. If I'm out in the city and other unknown places, I'm usually more aware of how much I am drinking, regardless of the people around. I generally know what I am doing and remember everything, but I doubt I would be able to control an unpleasant situation that involved me.

When it's all gone :D

I do. kinda. drink a lot but it is just a lifestyle I guess, my parents drank a lot and never really punished me for drinking when I was young so it just excelled from there. I would like to cut down a bit I would never want to get into the situation where I would *have* to stop drinking.
