You clearly don't play the right MMORPGs XD
Well, is there an MMORPG when repetition doesnt happen after a certain point and all you do is repeat the same process in hopes of getting better gear/reputation/level? I do believe that mmorpg's become the biggest chores after a certain point. Good example is raids in WoW, from what I hear (steam friends that go on 24-52 hour sessions on WoW), all the game becomes is raid after raid for more gear.
It's called Drift City, and it's an online racing MMORPG. Look it up, it's awesome.
Ill correct my statement, MOST MMO's get repetitive. Then again... a racing mmo isnt my thing. Right now Im sticking to multiplayers (TF2 doesnt get repetitive for quite a while on a ranked server).
Ranked server?
Am I missing something here, because I didn't know there were ranked servers...
You know... ranked servers, one with points system and you get ranked along with however many players have played that server. Like, 4 points for an assist kill as a medic, 30 points for a capture, and with kills, the points vary with the rank of who you killed or who killed you. As you accumulate points, you go up in rank. And you type session or rank to see your overall kd ratio, assists, headshots etc.

Oh, yeah, those, nevermind.

A game without a single bad spot, huh? Now that could be a chore... Okay, I know everyone's going to go 'Halo? Yeah yeah we all know it's the god of all FPS's get over it!' but I couldn't find much wrong with Halo 3.

Zelda Phantom Hour Glass was a chore for me when it kept forcing me deeper into that dungeon...
I suppose maybe Red Dead Redemption did for me as well while I was in Mexico, but there was so much else to do it was easy to amuse myself somehow or another.

My run through of MW2 on veteran. The level of dying is becoming boring, as is pumping 10 rounds into someone, only to have them all negated by something, and have them kill me in 1 hit. Urgh.
Dude, I know that pain. I did manage to do the entire thing on veteran in the end but man did that kill me both mentally and in-game. I just could not get past the smoke screen on Gulag or the running to Shepard's chopper on the estate level. They drove me insane. Easily the two most difficult levels on any difficulty.

I really enjoyed the storyline to AC2. But trying to get all the treasures of all the cities is a tedious chore with no reward. Not an achievement. Not an in-game reward. Nothing. Even worse when you put your time and effort into completing everything before that so money was unimportant. Pointless addition to the game on Ubisoft's part.

The game(or DLC)I found a chore was operation anchorage. Don't ask why I just got bored....but it only takes 3 hours to complete and you get very good rewards at the end.

99.9999% of MMORPG. Especially MMO's from GPotato because they rely heavily on grinding. And WoW became a chore right around level 58 and on up into Burning Crusade.

Watering plants in Pokemon Pearl and Diamond. Its tedious.

GTA 4
my brother seems to love to plow through the cities killing any who get in the way
and thats fun i guess IF YOUR THICK!
but me i see NO reason to its not fun its just pressing buttons to watch a guy commit mass murder
it just feels like work like im obligated to
Was the thick comment really necessary? I mean come on, sure it's not to your tastes but suddenly everyone who likes playing GTA 4 is thick? Personally I love the game, (I mostly end up roleplaying in it though, like being a traffic cop or something like that), and find it fun and I'm thick for that? All games come down to pressing buttons, it's kinda how you interact with them...
well im not saying that
i like GTA4 too when it lasted
but now all that is ever done is killing of hundreds people off the street
that particular facit of GTA 4 is for thick people
Okay, I can see that. I only keep playing it for the sheer ease of roleplaying. (Plus Multiplayer is fun).
