The camera in Ninja Gaiden 2, easily in the running for worst camera work in a game. Still fun to play though.

1) TF2: Crappy spies that put pyros on high alert during matches that I felt like playing spy. I run pyro most of the time though so this can also be really hilarious.

2) Demon's Souls: Lag during PvP.

3) Persona 4: This is (mostly) my fault. I accidentally ruined the ending of the game for myself while browsing the internet. Long story so I'll just say I'm usually careful about this stuff, but in my defense there was no "Spoiler Warning" on the page.

4) Fallout: New Vegas: The massive hard-on for Speech in that game. There was a real lack of desirable outcomes (imho) that didn't require high Speech, and that isn't how I want to play. I want to use my fists dammit! To derail slightly, I wish I could just get rid of it all together. Make any speech check you want to pass based off of a related skill/SPECIAL.

5) Shadow of the Colossus: The camera bothers the hell out of me.

6) Call of Duty: Black Ops: I appreciate what it fixed from MW2, but it also broke everything I enjoyed doing. The ballistic knife just isn't the same, and neither is trolling with a noob tube.

7) Any Fire Emblem: Any bs death, especially if it is at the end of a longer map.

Well essentially I made a forum topic describing how I felt when the game Mass Effect 2 revealed Canada had been annexed by the States. Now while authors and such describe similar events happening to other nations and such all the time, even to Canada. This has never bugged me before, I have played a lot of Fallout and nothing ever good happened to Canada there. For reasons I cannot fathom it "really" hurt when it came from Mass Effect. I expressed this and I was torn down, ridiculed, and outright insulted en-masses. Now while like anything fictitious I got over it quite easily, it was peoples reactions that still befuddle and hurt me to this day.

What say you?
Wow, you seem a bit irrational. If all Canadians are like you, then no WONDER we Americans keep you up in our attic! :p

In all seriousness, though, I think I understand why you'd feel a bit stung by the implication in ME that Canada was portrayed as largely irrelevant. I don't remember that part in ME2 (is it a Codex entry?), but I'm guessing that it was probably mentioned as a "it was no big deal" type of situation in the game, which would probably raise my blood pressure to SOME extent if I was a Canadian.

I think it's difficult for Americans to understand the attitude, because it's rare for America to be casually written off in a game and for the game to imply that nobody really cared all that much when the country ceased to exist.

Just remember to take pride in the fact that you kicked our asses the one time we actually TRIED to annex your country!

My girlfriend has been raging about that for the last 2 days.

OT: Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer and Mortal Kombat, pretty much all of the 1 vs 2 fights and the fights against Shao Khan.

What really made me angry and nauseous was the first Assassins's Creed on PC. I hated the "push-people-out-of-your-way"-button training session in the very beginning, it felt so bad idea, I couldn't continue playing. Still haven't and probably ever will.

The stealth in Metro 2033 was infuriating. It wasn't completely broken, but it was fairly shoddy.

Now Far Cry 2 had broken stealth >.<
Far Cry 2 had stealth??

OT: Fallout 3. I certainly wasn't expecting stellar plotwriting to begin with seeing as it was a Bethesda productions and all but ugh! That ending, pretty much seemed like they'd forgotten to write it at all and had to call in and hand-walk the retarded janitor-guy from the nightshift through creating it.

I mean fuck, there's just so many easy solutions that doesn't require anybody dying from radiation poisoning but no, there just had to be a stupidly tacked-on sacrifice. I guess the dev team read somewhere that Fallout 1 ended with a hard truth for the protagonist and wanted to continue that tradition as only a 10-year old boy writing fan-fiction can.

Bajonetta ticks me off soetimes. I mean, I fought myself a way through three waves of semi bosses, lose a shit ton of health, get berated for losing health, stumble on with a milimeter of green left, get into a fight, die, et berated for dying, start the fight again, lose the flow for a millisecond, BAM! stone reward.

-One normal day in tf2, above average happiness as I realize you've finally got enough scrap-
-makes a decent hat, suddenly the game crashes, computer freezes up and I come back 5minutes later to find no metal or hat ._.-

Kingdom Hearts 2.

Five hour tutorial. When's the part when the game gets fun?
God damn it, I'm playing through that game for my first time. If the girl at the counter of EB games hadn't told me how it gets so much better later in I would have probably dropped it and missed out D:

Thanks cute girl at EB!! ;)

But anyway, League of Legends can make me rage pretty hard when you get killed by bullshitty attacks three times 15 minutes into the game, fucking you up hard for the rest of it :(

Also, Mass effect 2 on Insane and Hardcore mode, as when a flame thrower so much as touches me Shepard begins to fail around and then die.
1. Use your slowmo skill
2. Aim at the gas canister on the enemy's back
3. Shoot
4. ????
5. GG enemy

OT: Mirror's Edge, Assassin's Creed, and any other free running game where the character jumps like a handicapped frog with a cinder block tied to it's neck.

Too Human

The exploding enemies

Running straight at you... making you use the awkward (read: more awkward than melee) ranged attacks

While the auto-target is aiming at a piece of railing

And you end up with some explody status effect that eventually kills you and then you have to watch the whole valkyrie thing... for the fiftieth time, because this happens so damn often

Because that game sucked in so many ways

Platformers tend to get me angry as well, but that's my own bloody fault. Strangely, I never got all that mad at online shooters. I think because dying never really phased me, especially in COD. I never looked at my deaths. I cared only about my score, not how many times I died getting there. K/D ratio is for poor team players.

Almost every Rockstar game in the past five years. The amount of frustration derived from such shitty writing makes playing their games feel like an abusive relationship. Every time they lie and say they've learned from their mistakes, and me, being the idiot, running straight back to them only to be frustrated and annoyed to no end time and time again.

Most recent case: L.A Noire and the entire stupid fucking plot.
Rockstar didn't make L.A. Noire at all. They just provided the money and game engine.

If you dislike the storyline, that's Team Bondi's fault.

(Not saying I'm defending Rockstar, as I hate most of their games for repetitive/shallow gameplay reasons, but credit should go where credit is due, and Rockstar isn't responsible.)

This is kinda bugging me too.

In a very "I'm no longer roleplaying I just want to get a good outcome so my character with 1 charisma is putting points in Speech just to get some interesting quest results" kinda way.

It's extremely frustrating. "Oh, this guy won't give me what I want? Well, I can either seduce him into doing it, pickpocket him and probably get caught, or kill him." Your character is essentially either a douchebag, a kleptomaniac or a psychopath (or he's missing out on half the game). This isn't roleplaying. This is the same as people in WoW creating a character based on the 'best' stats. There's no choice here. You're either making a powerful, useful character, or a shit one.

Pokemon Pinball on the Gameeboy color. All I can say is that I suck at the pinball game (how can you time when you use the flipper at the pinball droping on it?)
