Cloud is too emo, Zidane is too childish, Tidus is too pitiful.


In lieu of topic, Nobuo Uematsu, I'm SERIOUS!! The man is a musical genius. Good thing he sticked to composing pieces for games.

Squall is emo. More so than Cloud. Beside, even if you consider not caring like being a bad ass, he clearly complain that he love is just pain. Therefore, he is Emo, sorry. Zidane is childish but, at least doesn't moan all the time. In fact, it the only character that i really like in this series.

Here's how i see them

Cloud is a guilt ridden person looking for redemption. He is forgiven and redeemed but he keeps on believing that he's not, hence dragging down everyone who tries to help him. He keeps on moaning about mistakes and keeps on holding on to his stubborn pride. I'll give him credit for his skills, but to tell his character is not something to look up to.

Squall is a child wanting to grow up. An antisocial who wants to sever ties with humanity in search of independence. He's wants to prove his strength not to his rival, not to his comrades, not to the world, but to himself. He may complain about a lot of things about life and companionship but at leasts he keeps his opinions to himself and just negates his traumas to get the task at hand done. He's a born leader who shoulders the world alone. He's not the smartest choice, but at least he doesn't ask for the pity of others.

Yes he does, right after Seifer got dirty with the wicked witch. They are all in a room saying positive stuff about that douc*****s and He goes; "How would they remember me? Will they just said nice? Will they just stand there and think about the past? I don't wanna! No"
Than, out of the blue said that he wouldn't want to think like that and go. He wasn't scared of dying, he didn't wanted that when he fall that nobody remember him because he is anti-social. Which come full circle at the end of the game in the .... I can't say it with a strait face. Let just say ending FMV
