Well of course I don't do it while I study, just while homework'Glefistus said:You aren't supposed to have other shit running while you study and do hausaufgaben.Cortheya said:I agree....every day I sit down with some Stargate on Hulu and do my Biology homework. Then, its WOW time....Glefistus said:4)Doing poorly in school? Let me guess, no homework and studying? Do that first when you get home, make a habit of it, then you have the rest of te night to game! It's a feeling so amazing when you sit down knowing you have nothing else you need to do.
But if you so much as touch a drop of booze....Freakout456 said:not true at 18 the goverment expects you to sign up to the army and be killed in yet another pointless war.megapenguinx said:You basically overreacted.
You can game as an adult, it's not something you have to give up. Besides, you're from the U.S. No one expects you to do anything until after you turn 18 anyways.
Exactly. You just have to find a balance. No one can tell you how to do that cause you have to do that for yourself. How is giving up video games signify "growing up" by the way. It is a form of entertainment, not a right of passage. You can still be a gamer and have a girlfriend, a job, and/or other hobbies.xmetatr0nx said:Growing up has little if nothing to do with the activities you choose to distract yourself. Its all about responsibility and how you prioritise things. Its about being self sufficient and able to take care of things on your own when the situation calls for it. If you think calling off gaming will help you accomplish these things then more power to you. Why are you asking us on such a subjective matter?
EDIT: Did i mention that making decisions on your own is usually a sign of maturity? Grow up when you feel its time to get your shit together. Gaming isnt everything if you find more important things along the path of life then great, if not theres nothing wrong with a hobby.
