When the FF7 remake will come

Okay, now I feel really old. >.< *hides PS1, memory cards and the FF VII game* I agree, I've been trying to find games for this thing forever and you have a better chance of finding snowballs in heck than finding games. Particularly the good ones.

I am confident that it will be as shit as the original *runs*

but honestly, IT WASN'T THAT GREAT. The materia system made everyone interchangable (well at least I was able to make Barret a caster) and the story was pretty cliched. there are far better games that should be remade first, and I don't see why people keep holding it up on a pedestal it's worse then the reverence for Ocarina of Time (Majora's mask was better but still could've used a lot of polish) it's ridiculous it was an OK game for its time but wouldn't stand up today (then again with all the crap coming out now a days it just might) and they already made a good FF VII, Crisis core.

that's the main problem i have with final fantasy games in general. they make all the characters so samey( whether it be the sphere grid of ffx, or the materia system in ff7, or any other system.)

I certainly don't see them doing a console remake. Maybe on a handheld, eventually, since that's what they've been doing.
