The House is a vast place. The rooms number in hundreds, the corridors stretch for miles, and you could not walk across the grounds in a week. It is home to the Denizens, a veritable dynasty of society's finest, who's members number in the dozens. But they are not the only ones who live there. A building the size of the House, and a family as fine as the Denizens, require constant maintenance, from a host of servants, who address them as Masters

And one day, when the servants awake, not a single one of the Masters can be found. Not only that, but the Secretary, who knows all the Masters' arrangements, is deeply ill, and no record can be found of their whereabouts, plans or expectations.

The House is in chaos, but a few of the Servants have kept their heads, and must deal with these problems.

Interesting Details:

If you must refer to the Denizens at this point, do so in the vague style, ie the Young Ladies, or the Mistress, as opposed to Miss Lucy

Looks cool. One question: is this a normal place (like, not in a separate dimension), or is there something special about it?

I am curious, and somewhat interested, but with only a few paragraphs it's quite vague. Why is the house in chaos, other than the reason that the Masters have disappeared? "Dozens" of people gone, but if you could not walk from one side of this House to the other inside a week, the Servants must outnumber the Masters 10 to 1, if at the very least the House is to be dusted regularly. Some rooms would never be used, an entire wing or more would be only for Servants, very likely half the Servants would never see their Masters, only a supervising butler or something.

Other than RP as the second (working) class of an extremely large estate, I am not sure what the goal is other than the obvious: find out what happened to the Masters, and/or to the Secretary. Just under the surface of that might be "find out x so that the finances of the house don't collapse without direction", but again, this seems vague, since to imagine an estate of this size, I must also imagine that the Masters do not directly manage their finances except to perhaps nod or sign a form.

I promise I am trying to be a constructive critic. I don't want to see more RPs falling on their faces shortly after getting up on their feet.

That, sir, will be revealed shortly. I ask that you write your character in the style of a realistic servant from roughly Victorian times

So, what kind of trouble will the servants look towards to?
All sorts. the house is pretty huge, and the potential trials are many and manifold. Wire the sheet, and all will be revealed...

yes , I know I'm being mysterious, but that's kinda the point

So I can have them be from other countries? I had an idea for a character, but I just need to know if I can have a Spaniard or not.

That's difficult; this is not necessarily set on Earth, but neither is definitely not on Earth. You see what I mean?
Basically, Spaniards are fine, but preferably not from Spain, you see?

Yeah, I see. Expect a sheet soon.

Habits: smokes cigarettes some times, as well as will occasionally start speaking in Spanish, even when talking in English just before

Sorry that it was short, I'll get more detail in if you want it.

Name: George Norre
Duties: Doorman and house oversight. Commonly employed to open the door to guests and announce their arrivals, as well as direct chauffeurs. Oversight of the other servants is usually unnecessary.
Skills: Very keen organizational mind and photographic memory. He enjoys playing a few select musical instruments for his own and the master's enjoyment.
Habits: Gaming on the job. He sometimes sneaks a Gameboy Advance SP into his pocket, when there's not much to be doing around the house.
Interesting Details: Went into this profession only because he wasn't skilled enough to become a concert pianist. Has a wife and two children.

I have been asked to relay a message here:

"I'm currently channelling through my decrepit phone, as my internet connection is utterly broke. Please be forgiving of my lack of posting, and relay my apologies where they might be relevant.

To find this a little underpopulated...

Very nice. No need to worry about boringness/perfection, he's fine as he is =)

I honestly think that you should advertise this more. There aren't that many new RPs right now.

Yes.
Let us continue to give idle banter that says nothing about a certain word synonymous with pushing.

I had been trying to construct a certain kind of mystery, which I am not keen to divulge in the public domain. If you want to help me with this, I can send you a PM outlining my idea; I would be grateful for your input...

I think a little note in the Regulars might be in order...
