Back home, I'd go to Best Buy, Game Crazy(before it closed down), Game Stop, Wal-Mart, and sometimes EB Games. Here, my only option is the mall. There really aren't any established game stores here in Costa Rica. At least, none I can think of.

Amazon, Gamestop, and Goozex. I use Amazon most often because I can never make the drive during the week to get a game on launch day and love having it delivered. Gamestop and Goozex I alternate on trading games in depending on which has better value.

Amazon.. like so many others.

I love Amazon. Out of all the places I've ever dealt with, including all sorts of things other than video games.. they have always treated me with respect, and honored my issues with haste. Returns are a no-brainer, replacements are easy, etc. Have been doing business for years.

Games with them, couldn't be better. I have Amazon Prime, so I get free 2-day shipping on everything.. It's so easy just to drop a game in the cart and place the order.. have it in 2 days guaranteed, even on Saturday. One-day shipping is only $4 USD, with Amazon Prime, so if I'm feeling anxious for a game, I can do that too.

Release Date delivery on blockbuster games is always a plus too.

Oh, and Ebay on occasion, for certain older games. I don't usually like using the Amazon marketplace, because people are overpriced most of the time, and they rip you off with shipping pretty bad.

I play my games solely on a PC. So, Steam, natch.

But if I'm SUPER excited for a game, I'll run over to GameStop or some place close to pick it up in all it's new, shiny glory. Something about the way a new game smells is so pleasing to me. :3

Wherever I happen to find them cheap. Gamestop is probably the most common place for me to impulse buy, but if it's hard to find, I usually go to Amazon or Ebay. And then there's that complete copy of the PC version of Oblivion that I recently picked up for $2 at a thrift shop. I love thrift shops. :p

If im not lazy or want collectors edition i buy at CDProjekt since they are my local retailer and give me points to spend on game at GoodOldGames for registering games with them.

If i cant get my hand on english language edition, or am lazy it would be digital distribution either from Steam or publisher depending where i get better price.

Best Buy. A local grocery chain also carries electronics, so I get them there sometimes too. I'd use Steam, but I don't have a credit card.

I use GAME if I'm preordering something, because I get double loyalty card points and the discounts I get are always nice.

If I'm buying games that are not brand new, just released, over priced piles of shite, I use Play.com, also use them for those wonderful classics long since forgotten.

We have this awesome store called Play-N-Trade, and that's pretty much where it's at.
Demo Stations? Pick a game off the wall, and put it in one of the consoles. If you like it, buy it, or just bum around there and play it, they're cool with it.

Plus the staff clearly love their jobs. Always a plus.

I'm usually buying from Steam or Gamestop.
But since I don't buy many console games, and most new PC games are too much for my current computers, I've been pretty confined to Steam lately.
