Hey, Doctor Who isn't all that nerdy. Mark the line at Star Trek if you're going to not watch a longrunning science fiction show. It's much more grounded in science. Doctor Who is a bit less technobabble, much more SHIT SHIT WERE GONNA DIE I HAVE A SCREWDRIVER WOOSH WOOSH, at least, nowadays it is.

I draw the line at cosplaying.

Lines.

Heh.

You don't draw lines. You are the line. You stop where you stop and you don't go any further or back than where you are. And trust me, sooner or later, whether you want to or not, you always go a little further.

No, I do whatever I feel like.
I can rest safe in the knowledge that if anyone tries to make fun of me because of it I can turn round and tell them that I've had more sex, drugs and rock and roll than they and their entire circle of family & friends could ever hope of having with a fairly good chance of being right. I've lived the 'cool' life long enough to get jaded and find it all boring, now I do whatever interests me. For example I've recently taken up painting Warhammer/40K figures, massively uncool but fuck it I find it entertaining at the moment so that's what I do.
There's plenty of 'nerdy' shit I don't do because I don't like it (Doctor Who & anime for example), but if it appeals to me I'll do it without a second thought.

I watch Dr Who and I own almost all the old ones. I used to play D&D and I currently play Warhammer. I play computer games such as WoW, Dragon Age and Pokémon Silver. I own 70 plushies who sit around my room (They all have names) half are from places I've visited, a quarter are WoW plushies and a quarter are child hood teddies.

My dvd collection consists of B Sci Fi movies from the 80's/90's like Tek Wars and old sit commedy/mystery shows such as Golden Girls, Murder She Wrote, Alf and Miss Marple.

I still manage to live a relatively cool life travelling from country to country every few months and working for an industry leading company earning more money than I should for a job I enjoy.

There is no such thing as a line, only a perception of what is socially acceptable. I also used to play Yu Gi Oh and play Magic the Gathering. ;)

Wtf, guys.
I feel like a freak now. I love Smart Cars and Glee is one of my favorite shows (granted, I think actual Glee clubs are retarded).

OT: I draw the line at talking about any anime shows irl or just obvious anime fandom in general (i.e. cosplaying, bringing manga to school, etc). And there are plenty of anime that I would kick myself if I ever tried to seriously watch. My friends tried to make me watch this show "Durarara", I wanted to hurt something after the first episode.

The only reason I play D&D Online is because I can convince myself that it's more video game than D&D.

I'll be damned if I ever let myself fall to table-top version, though.
