How about the revolutionary war?

I seriously played an old Counter Strike MOD based on the revolutionary war... it was hillarious seeing everybody use modern FPS tactics with single fire muskets that were horribly inaccurate.

I miss that game.

I would love to see a game like that.

Either that or something like a 40k/Battlefront style game.

I think that most people would agree that the Call of Duty series should now end on a positive note rather than be strung out to the point of total disgust for all gamers!

What say you all? :D
Yes. COD must not go the way of Sonic.
but sonic has been dead for awhile now...
But! They keep making new games. Each crappier than the last.

Yeah...that's true. It sucks and I don't want to admit it, but that is indeed correct.

Never! There's life in the old dog yet.

I'm not a religious man, but I have faith in Infinity Ward.

....Eeeehhh?! lol

This.

I don't mind quasi-future setting (Think GRAW or GRAW 2), but not crazy futuristic.
I wouldn't mind WW1, actually. It is a really untouched setting (Not counting Red Baron) that could have some promise.

Failing that: Vietnam? That could be done well.

The revolutionary war one would also be interesting...but it wouldn't be the quick COD we're all used to. Different isn't always better.

theres going to be modern warfare 2. although i would love to see a vietnam game! shooting up chalies with my m16A1 while in an intense jungle environment would be great!
edit: also, i would like to see a game about a war that america didn't fight.
or infinity ward could do the second stupidest thing ever (first is another fucking world war 2 game) and make a game about the cold war where your just a random president sitting at you desk reading the paper and getting pissed that your sitting around doing nothing isn't helping.

no gaming developer would dare to have Vietnam as a setting, cause of course America lost that war, and we don't want to see America in a bad light obviously! *cough cough* (not that its already seen as a junk food-guzzling, ill-educated super power... apologies to all nice Americans)
