Can you fix my quote? I have made a typo (by the way, thanks for helping me see it).Rancid0ffspring said:Yup t'was indeed. Methinks I'll keep that one

I meant to say that he's busy with Daleks, not buys (which makes little sense in that phrase).Tdc2182 said:No, it wasnt broken. It was funny and well placed.
Most likely they're in the conceptual stage, but don't have enough material to tell us about it yet.Scumpernickle said:Its been about four years since the release of an Elder Scrolls game. Bethesda has developed only one game (according to wikipedia, correct me if I'm wrong) between then and now, which was Fallout 3. Unless Bethesda is doing an underground development by dropping us little hints now and then while they are polishing up the game, where exactly is it?
Drop your ideas below.

I picked up NWN2 with low expectations after the abortion that was the original NWN1 campaign.theultimateend said:You've PLAYED NWN2 right? Next to SPORE I can think of no other Title that has ever disappointed me so fully.
Every single sequel has been different to the earlier ones, not a single one has been based on the events of the proceeding one (Oblivion would've worked fine without the whole Nerevarine prophecy happening across the sea). I don't really think it's fair to assume that the next release will be Oblivion "warmed over again", as every single game has been on a new engine with drastically different mechanics. Anyway, 3 'sequels' (or rather, full games set in the same universe) in 16 years hardly qualifies as milking an IP, even if you include expansions and handheld/mobile games there are only like 13 titles in the series.Arcane Azmadi said:Oh yeah, this is SUCH a critical issue at this time! I mean, god forbid we allow a company to get away with not milking a series for a fifth installment!
Sarcasm aside, why are you so desperate for yet ANOTHER sequel? I'd rather see an all-new IP than Oblivion warmed-over again. If you want more Elder Scrolls, just look for some more mods or something.
Of course, but it bodes well for New Vegas to have members of the original team on it.RhomCo said:MiracleOfSound said:Not to mention Fallout 1 and 2...RhomCo said:Lots of former Black Isle staffers, game creds include NWN2 and KotOR2... yeah, sound terrible to me.Scabadus said:I've heard that it's a company called "Obsidian" that's making New Vegas. There's a difference between being Black Isle and formed from former Black Isle staff.
Bethesda is not making that game, they are publishing it. They have nothing to do with development, so their team is doing something else.Audioave10 said:They are finishing this game...BRINK. Should be ready by Oct. - Nov. (hopefully)

Don't mind me, I'm one of those heretics that prefered FO1 to FO2, which if memory serves, actually predates Black Isle.MiracleOfSound said:Of course, but it bodes well for New Vegas to have members of the original team on it.
Bethesda Game Studios isn't developing Brink. Splash Damage is. Bethesda Softworks is publishing it (the same way they're publishing New Vegas) but the Howard/Hines combo pack is working on something else (most likely TES5, but it might just as easily be Fallout 4.)Audioave10 said:They are finishing this game...BRINK. Ah...I didn't know that, so it was a different team that made FO1?RhomCo said:Don't mind me, I'm one of those heretics that prefered FO1 to FO2, which if memory serves, actually predates Black Isle.MiracleOfSound said:Of course, but it bodes well for New Vegas to have members of the original team on it.
