If the new Elder Scrolls carried on where Fallout 3 left off then I'd have that, but I'm not ready for another Oblivion, it was a lot of fun, but quite lacking compared to Morrowind.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this. I liked the physics engine in Oblivion but the skill set was somewhat lacking. And someone deserves a slap in the face for what Oblivion did to a perfectly goos shopping interface.

That's what Bethesda is working on right now, with splash damage... TBH, I didn't really like Fallout 3 that much. Anyone knows, is TES5 gonna be on a new engine, or the TES4 aka "shitty animations" engine?

This is why being a PC gamer has so many advantages. Creepyfellow's Living Economy mod is more or less mandatory for anyone who plays Oblivion (and comes in the package when you get Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul.)

And speaking of Oscuro, Obsidian hired him as a level designer. Modmaking can get you jobs if you're good enough at it, apparently.

As for Bethesda - they've also worked on iFallout 3 DLC, but that still dosen't excuses them. Oh wait, i totally forgot! They're also doing Fallout New Vegas! Oh wait again, Fallout New Vegas is being made by Obsidian, soooo... yeah.

Bethesda are not Activision, 2 eldar scrolls games a decade would be rushing for them. Give it time, I'm sure they'll do it, as they always do new engines and try to add in significant game play changes, I imagine we're still some ways off, I doubt we'll see it before this gen of consoles dies off.
