I have my house in Megaton, but I also decided to take a small raider camp under a bridge as my own. It's near the Citadel, under the broken part of the bridge. Unfortunatley, I had forgotten about it and came back to raiders occupying it. The worst part is that I don't remember if I had stored anything there. It doesn't matter, I planted about 20 Frag Mines there this time so that the raiders would dye when they inevitably come back.
Megaton, because it's a nice little hub and there are places of convenience nearby should I decide to sell my stuff.

But, hey, at least your house comes with a robot who can tell jokes and style you're hair. That's way better than living with two gorgeous hookers and several queen-sized beds in a mansion with a bottomless liquor cabinet, right?...Right?

Megaton. It's where my dog and collection of bobbleheads are as well as my locker that contains more weapons and armor then the an U.S army base. Consequently the locker seems to have a small pocket dimension in it, perhaps I'll sell it someday.
Hey I wanna take up a residence somewhere what's like the best place? I kinda want a house, and while I would kinda like the ones in Minefield, they're a bit TOO dilapidated. More so than the other ones. There's piles or rubble everywhere.
I can't say I really cared about a house I had a box I stored everything for when I eventually build all the weapons, but off subject in morrowind that room up the stairs to the right of the scamp merchant I had stacks of books and special weapons I had found set up on the window seals
i dont live anywhere i live on the road.....and occasionally visit the hooker in megaton......i doubt vault 101 has ever had the experience lol
I use the Meagton house, mainly because you can customise your house and the robot butler is really cool. Plus when you return home the shops there are rather useful and the water plant for selling your scrap metal for 10 caps/5 exp. each is helpful.
