Well here is the deal, right, we've seen on various websites claiming that dead rising 2 is in the works, and then edited to say that it is not announced...yet. We all know that dead rising was placed in a shopping mall and was fun and innovative because of the different shops and areas that we could explore, as well as loot and maim zombies. Yes the AI of survivors had its flaws and such, as well as the aiming, but get that fixed, the second game could be great.
So to conclude, what are some cool places that the next game should take place and how would that make the game live up to the original? Oh and also what kinds of weapons, stores, Etc. would be good to add to the game that you would love to see?

I always thought one of those Canadian-style cities where it is possible to travel from one end to the other without ever going outside (ala Waydowntown)would make a nice setting. The streets could be barracaded....

Or a remote European village way up in the mountains, with only one road in/out of town and an old castle on the far side of a lake....

the deadraising series is good for its sandboxing, so i would have to say DownTown LA, just cos one of the bosses could be a pizzaria owner

Liberty City. Not a whole lot going on there now - why not drop a couple million zombies on that map and liven things up a bit?

Haha, yea that would be one of the next bosses for sure, like the clown got in, the corrupt cop got in and the convicts got in the first one, so why not add some more angry stereotypes like that (but i think they should add those bosses like next gen versions as well cause adam the clown was cool yet freaky) I was thinking an amusement park wouldve been good, but it is way too small and is just one theme, whereas the mall had many themes (construction zone, park, car park, food court, Etc.) i say anything would be good as long as it involves having that feelin of being 'stuck' because of the zombies.

An airport. That would be neat. Kinda surprised no one else has said it yet. It's the first thing that came to mind, at least...

Though that could be because of that horrible CG Resident Evil flick.

Well it should be at a higher elevation than the first one. Otherwise its a misnomer.

I live in Calgary, Canada in our downtown you can go from one end to the other without going outside. It was designed that way so you don't have to set foot outside in the -40 weather. If Dead Rising did use this idea it would be cool. The downside would be the game would have to be in -40 weather in order to force Frank to stay inside and if hes in downtown he could easily find a coat or something. also then the game would be in Canada and who wants that?

They should set it on a Space Station.
Bring on the cyberzombies and zero gravity zombie-killing set pieces.
