agreed, and nice work on the confusing quotes... back to the matter at hand, wasnt the point of the deadraising game was to find out how the zombie infection started...it would sorta ruin the first game if the seccond game explained the reason why the zombies had appeared, in the first cutscene...
well... it did explain at the end of dead rising? didnt u beat the story missions?

on a side note... what a stupid reason for zombies... honestly! am i the only one who thinks that was a bad reason?

Acheivement Russian Roulette-Kill a Zombie using thr roulette spinner
Actually that sounds pretty bloody fun, tho Capcom better get some better script writers to tie together why the hell he was there in the first place...
actually scratch that, probably hit vegas to drink out the memory of zombies

The ending of Dead Rising WAS a cliffhanger, so according to that cliffhanger, it should be something that goes along with it. But because something that involves the search of 1 person in each US state would ruin the whole "closed area" part of Dead Rising, im not sure how that would play out.

Maybe Frank West attracted them all to the same village then went from there?

I think that Vegas would be a good setting. They need to get rid of the arbitrary time limit this time around though. That just pissed me off.

After all the fuss surrounding intellectual property and how closely the first game mirrored a certain legendary zombie movie, I think the better question is where can't it be set? I think the lawyers will decide this one for the developers, unfortunately.

How about a prequel, in the same town (i forget the name) where the zombie outbreak begins and you have to fight your way to the mall. Maybe you could play as Brad, or something.

I'd like to see it take place over an entire Small Town or City with a lot of the freedom you had in the first one, just expanded and improved. I'd also like to see you play a new character, Frank was awesome an all, but I don't see a really good reason for him to come back.

I agree with whoever said it, an airport is the perfect location. There are shops, terminals, you could go into planes, parking lots/garages, offices, whatever.

Yeah it definitely take place in a city. And maybe this time around, if you actually kill the entire population of the city there should be a few less zombies around. After killing 53,945 zombies why are there still thousands of them around?
They just wont die!!!!!!
aren't they coming from the under ground?
Depends on which type of zed it is.
If its the new virus ones, then no.
If its the old space radiation ones, then yes.
Isn't the best kind of explanation for a zombie uprising a nonexistent one, since they're always, always incredibly retarded?
Yes lets go back to the classics. We don't need to know how they got there or why. Just that they are and they are hungry. I can't believe they screwed that part up in both of "The Dead" remakes.

Why not the city itself? If Frank escaped on the chopper, just have it crash and the goal is to get out of the city? It would keep the story going and the open ended aspect would be great.
