it's not about the locations, its about the themes and how many scary yet funny boss fights could come out of these themes

for example:
i would say a small multicultural australian town, loot some of the stores, set up a fortress inside a house and bonus...hide in the sewers
and the heat of australia forces frank to spend most of the day inside, cooling down at night, so you pretty much have to wait out summer...

ok i didnt think that example through...

I always thought one of those Canadian-style cities where it is possible to travel from one end to the other without ever going outside (ala Waydowntown)would make a nice setting. The streets could be barracaded....

Or a remote European village way up in the mountains, with only one road in/out of town and an old castle on the far side of a lake....
The remote European village thing gave me the feel that every1 thinks that those are all over europe...... i dnt think they are..... atleast not i norway. But it would b kinda awesome if the next game was set in a remote cliched village with a dracula caslte thingy

An airport. That would be neat. Kinda surprised no one else has said it yet. It's the first thing that came to mind, at least...

Though that could be because of that horrible CG Resident Evil flick.
Airports are basically Malls people are forced to wait in until their plane was boarding.

Particularly ones like JFK, LAX, SFO, and O'Hare

Liberty City. Not a whole lot going on there now - why not drop a couple million zombies on that map and liven things up a bit?
Just take GTA 3/Vice City/San Andreas (GTA4 can go fuck itself) with the same controls, locations, etc, change the NPCs to zombies and make it possible to go into more building. Instant win.

In the 1980s, it doesn't matter where.
As long as I get to kill me some zombie hair metal bands.

Ooh! Or on Isla Nublar (dinosaurs and zombies, and zombie dinosaurs)

I quite like the idea of it being in an army base a bit like Area 51.
strange weapons, normal weapons like machine guns. you could run round saving military commanders.

Yeah it definately take place in a city. And maybe this time around, if you actually kill the entire population of the city there should be a few less zombies around. After killing 53,945 zombies why are there still thousands of them around?
They just wont die!!!!!!

its not about the strange weapons tho, hell its really not about guns, its about finding normal, yet dangerous objects that can be used as weapons like the all time favorite wooden bench...
anyway considering that the military hates you and tries to kill you in the first games (dont complain about spoiling, we already knew it from the first cutscene) so it wouldnt make sense that he would go to a heavly fortified military operations location...

Depends on which type of zed it is.
If its the new virus ones, then no.
If its the old space radiation ones, then yes.

Isn't the best kind of explanation for a zombie uprising a nonexistent one, since they're always, always incredibly retarded?
agreed, and nice work on the confusing quotes... back to the matter at hand, wasnt the point of the deadraising game was to find out how the zombie infection started...it would sorta ruin the first game if the seccond game explained the reason why the zombies had appeared, in the first cutscene...
