Yeah, you know there will be plenty of awesome Fallout stand-alone and sequels to come. Maybe we'll get lucky and Bethesda will look through here and find a good suggestion. So, where should a Fallout game be set?If it's not clear heres what i say.: They should set one in 2077, the same year the bombs fell, to a kind-of RPG-Slightly futuristic shooter. And of course we can all figure it will end with the bombs.

You ideas?

When is any game gonna feature Philadelphia? I would love to walk through the ruins of my neighborhood. Or wreak havoc in it in some other game.

I wouldn't mind seeing Australia being featured. Think of it, you could ride through the outback with your dog dispensing justice and fighting off ravenous hordes of psychos.

.................Oh wait.

Well, I'd like to see other countries. Though probably that would take the Vaults away from the game.

Sorry if my Fallout backstory is a little rusty, but was there any kind of damage in China? That's where the bombs came from, right?

From what I recall, they allegedly started the war and got their fair share of Nuclear lumps on the head for their trouble. Then again I also seem to recall hearing that the damage was minimal and only the Continental US sustained the level of damage that we've been shown.

Leeds.

Super Mutants and raiders stand no chance against an angry horde of Leeds Utd fans.

But seriously:
I think a jump of about 50 years could work, Set it in either Washington again, London or Paris.....would be nice to see a differant view on the story and if any other countries used vaults.

Or just put it in City 17 and mix the creatures and you have Half-fall: Outlife

I want it to take place in a city with good locations, but I don't want to be forced to use the metros constantly. That was my one qualm with Fallout 3.

Well, it would be interesting to see it from their perspective. Of course, that would possibly lead to RE 5-style accusations of racism.

If they can accurately recreate my house, I'll buy it.

Project V13 looks like it's going to be Seattle.[/quote]Ah that was canceled and has yet to have any word of revival.
OT: I would really like to see what happened to the rest of the world and if someplace is really still relitively intack.

It's never explained where the Nukes came from (although I seem to remember 2 implied that the Americans started the war and may have nuked themselves along with the rest of the world.

I'm fine with it being set anywhere in the US although Ideally I'd like to see Texas, Caesar's Legion would be cool to see.

Glasgow! Why? Because I really want to see my own city in a game, and get that weird feeling.

China. Let's see how the other half lives.

You can make it some kind of twisted take on Chinese mythology, with monsters like the Yao Guai.
