Before I came here I'd been on the Gearbox forums for a few months after Borderlands was released. Before then it was maybe a year or so since I'd been on some random anime forum and Gamespot.

I hated both.

I was a struggling country singer with a nasty alcohol addiction who would just go from town to town with the occasional crash on a dirty street after particularly brutal benders. I'm almost positive I would be dead today, until I heard of little website called the Escapist . . .

But in reality I just spent time on Facebook and youtube for fun. Then I heard of Zero Punctuation on some tv show and I've been a semi-participant on the website ever since.

my first big forum frequenting went to ign ... then i faded for a time just didn't really care to comment on anything ... i got back into it with the mag beta ... we all tried, but zipper really effed it... then i was pumped for dynasty warriors strike force and went to the koei forums which were an ultra-drag ... then they were doing a deal where i could get hd vids on here and i was big on zero punctuation anyway... that's my net story

The Escapist is my 4th forum since I discovered the "wondrous world" we call the Internets. The first 3 were all anime forums(Bleach Network and whatnot). Out of the first 3, I'm a regular poster in only one of them.

I've always liked forums, but I rarely find one where I want to fully immerse myself in the community. I've been to a lot of forums before this one, anyway the main one before was a forum called Parlancia and all of its affiliates. The main one that people would be aware of is probably Filefront. I came to the Escapist for ZP and decided to stick around.
