IF they made a Victorian one they need to get the 'Penny Dreadfuls' on board for voice work, they're a Victorian sketch comedy group, and truly brilliant!
I'm still stuck on my idea of GTA:UK, with 3 or 4 cities recreated, linked by airports, but no stealing planes, as the last thing we need is the media getting their hands on 'terrorist training simulator'. But the chance to go from London, to Manchester, to Belfast, to Glasgow, and back to London, would let them craft a great tale, and hire some great voice acting too, and hopefully keep it more comedic and less 'oh woe is me, war and my old country, and my life is horrible...'
Seems to be a common theme that the best 'setting' so far was the bright neon streets of Vice City, and I'm reading many people are enjoying Saint's Row 2 more than GTA4, purely in gameplay terms, so maybe we need to step away from gritty realism.
For me, if I'm going to be murdering hundreds of people during a game, I prefer it not to be too realistic.
Here's another thing, the 'drink driving' of GTA4 was hilarious, yet here's the kicker, I have no urge to get hammered and go for a cruise, because I know its not like that for real.
