The Scrin, because they fuck your world up with a crystal that eats stuff up and makes it more of itself, which also makes them more powerful when they invade, something they only do once the "ichor" once they fuck your world up enough to make the ground itself kerplode, and even then they have flying razors that come and shred your armies and a super weapon that warps you into the depths of space, and that's only if you survive the legions of tank things and scarab legions.

Whatever alien race Lavos is.

He's a giant, Earth-devouring porcupine. Way more terrifying then he sounds, too.

Those shadow monsters would be the worst. Come to think of it, that would make a sick movie, if done right.
The Scrin, xenomorphs, nids or zerg would be the worst, on the basis of their ridiculous numbers and insatiable hunger (and for the scrin their tiberium-raping of worlds).

Like Steeltrain said, if you can see it, you can kill it, so fighting predators wouldnt be that bad, especially since technology is getting to the point where body armor that camouflages you is possible. So a predator might be cloaked with a laser weapon, but I'll be cloaked with an antitank rocket launcher.

And with strange eons even death may die

Necrons without a doubt.
Even the tyrannids avoid tomb worlds
For a very good reason: There is nothing there for them to want. Tomb worlds are dead worlds, the necrons having killed even the bacteria with their monoliths. Necrons hate life and destroy it in all of it's forms; Tyranids are hunger, the Galactic Devourer, caring for nothing else but eating more and more biomass (at least as far as we know) and moving on to the next feeding ground.

It has been said but I think that most aliens could easily murder me in a second or two. Whilst I wouldn't want to fight the Zerg, Xenomorphs, or those creatures from Dreamcatcher, I'm pretty sure the most horrifying experience would be Cthulu.

The Borg. They would be really tough. They adapt to everything you throw at them. They assimilate your tech and your people. The only ones that would be even tougher would be the race of beings that the character Q belonged to. Those guys were almost gods. Good thing that Q, as much of a rascal as he was, was not a bad guy. He'd have destroyed Starfleet otherwise.

I think the Replicators from Stargate are definitely some of the worse to tangle with - at least other alien races can be defeated by superior numbers and enough expended ammunition. Get one replicator loose and you're screwed before you know it.
But we here on earth actually had weapons that could beat them. The rest of the galaxy would be screwed but we'd be alright.

I'd be more worried by the tyrranids or borg myself.

For me it's a toss between the Daleks, the Cybermen, the Cylons, the Replicators and of course the Great old ones.

Daleks, or Tyranids.
Daleks because they're virtually indestructible and unstoppable, and Tyranids because there is a nearly infinite amount of them--They're bound to overtake you at some point.

Overlooking the one alien that beat most of them...
