I love to be someone I'm not in real life, I mean, that's the point of a role-playing game right?

My favorite characters to play are the very suave guys who can convince other people of whatever he wants them to believe and get them to do whatever he wants. I played a guy like on Fallout 3 and had a lot of fun, a 10 in charisma and 100 in speech and you barely even have to draw a gun anymore.

sneaky sneaky or magicy. both if i can.
in FPSs this means being a sneaky user of... something. generally a high damage weapon either super close or super long range.

No matter what kind of game, I always go for any class that puts the most range between me and my target. Really, there's no need to risk getting up close and personal when you can cause just as much mayhem from afar. In shooters, I'm a sniper/rifleman, in RPG's, I'm an archer/magic user, in RTS games, I use siege weapons.
Sneaking is also very important in games that implement it (and implement it well). It's the only way one man can take out a dozen others in a safe way.

I think I'm a bit of a 'hit and run' type. If given the choice I prefer to be able to avoid an attack rather than weather it, but I've always considered the best defense to be to turn whatever endangers me into a fine mist before it gets the chance to attack. I couldn't hit a barn door if I was holding the handle so I tend to favour rapid fire/high splash damage weapons although I do enjoy the occasional melee attack so long as a) I'm quick enough to let rip before the enemy can react and b) I can actually do some damage while I'm there. The melee weapons in KISS: Psycho Circus are prime examples.

Stealth is a tactic that so rarely crosses my mind that games that employ it heavily usually throw me off. I got pasted regularly in the Crysis demo before I twigged that I could just turn invisible at will, walk up to entrenched enemies and turn them into salsa while they're still chucking grenades at my last known position. It still didn't sit well with me, though. Unlike Syndef above I enjoy a good rumble at close quarters and am quite happy to let the enemy know I'm coming so that they have time to fill their pants with terrified piss before I re-fill them with lead/rockets/hot plasma.

Ooh- energy guns. I like me some high tech mumbo jumbo. If there's a laser or a plasma rifle or a microwave gun in a game I'll tend to favour it unless it's completely useless. What can I say? I'm a child of 80s pop culture, ergo lasers are cool.

Now then. Morality. Good guy. Light side. Save the princess. Rescue the puppies. Douse the burning villager. Every time. If I want to see the 'bad player' cutscenes and consequences I have to go on Youtube. It's just not in my nature.

well, i just can't keep to one.
TF2: soldier
WoW: Priest
Kult: Medical examiner/ english teacher
when it comes to gunplay in other games, i prefer to sneak up on snipers and dropp up to five grenades on them before hastingly leaving the room.
i don't get many kills, but when i do, i do it with a bang :)

Well I normally just play the game, make similar choices to what I would actually make if I (somehow) came across that situation, however, during my second play through of Fallout 3, I played a drunk gun wielding maniac, used heavy weapons and didn't pay much attention to what I was saying, the results were rather fun to be honest.
