Mostly from some of the organ trafficking around there a person could have gotten a kidney or some other major organ from a person who didnt know they were infected but were in early stages of infection as for britain it would suffer from an outbreak that would be more isolated an harder to contain, not because of the amount of zombies but from a lack of communication between communities in farmlands. You could be sleeping in youre bed in a quiet little village in the england countryside and the next morning you wake up , walk down the stairs and see that youre little village has been overrun with the undead from the town six miles down then you smell something rank, like rotting meat ,and then you feel cold clammy hands grab you from behind........
