Atlantis.
Before the whole city-underwater thing.
in what game is Atlantis in?
whoops, i guess it's not in a game, but it is fictional though. Or is it?
maybe it inst fictional. i mean i was watching the discovery channel a couple of night ago and it was about Atlantis. and from the shit that they found in the ocean it made me think the it was real.
your probably right.
Hence the ' Or is it?'
Though it's unlikely it ever existed.

Balamb Garden from Final Fantasy VIII. It's a military academy.
Amen dude, Amen :) In fact, anywhere from ANY of the Final Fantasy series. Wutai? Rabanastre? etc etc
And would the Gold Saucer from FF7 count?
I wouldn't want to live in Moblitz (If it's the right town) from FF6. Why? I don't know, maybe the whole light of judgement thing. Yeah, I would live in a Final fantasy... somewhere.

The Paper Mario series has some nice places. I would also like to live on Manaan in KOTOR.

Varrigan City from MadWorld, from a sitting-in-the-booth,-watching view, or a contestant view. Although Cosmo Canyon from FFVII seems nice. A beautiful and calm place, where you can get your chill vibe on, and forget all problem. Like weed, but it's not illegal, and it's so much better. Or maybe Zanarkand from FFX. Hi-tech and cool during the night, yet beautiful and wonderful during the day (except when Sin attacks). Although I probably wouldn't want to live in a place without video games, but I guess that isn't what we're focusing on.

Underwater soccer! Materia, junctions, magical grids, even dresspheres? Yeah the Final Fantasy world would be awesome to live in.

I can't help but feel cheated by this thread. I'm not trying to gripe or anything, because it doesn't matter at all. Just an observation really. I made this thread about 4 days before this one was created, and it only got 2 pages. Somehow, this one grew to 9. The only difference was that I said "gaming world" and not "gaming town/city."

No, really, I'm not bitter or anything about it (why should I be?), but I'm just confused at the drastic difference in attention.

Anyway, I don't think I put a response in this thread, so I'll restate mine. A town in Morrowind would be nice. Probably Caldera, Balmora, or Sadrith Mora.

I'd switch between Racoon City and Silent Hill. Kill some zombies here, kill some twitching demons there and get a well-deserved cup of coffee

Obviously Balamb Garden from FFVIII but possibly the massive steampunk-athon from FFIX (can't remember the name.)

Probably Candlekeep from Baldur's Gate. It's a library fortress - all the books I could want, and I'm completely safe from attack!

Plus, it has fantastic views of the sea and surrounding countryside, and the local hotel's as clean as an Elven arse (according to Winthrop, anyway).

The small town in Persona 4 where you can enter televisions and wield magical powers, plus being non-judgmental can get a half-dozen girls to fall in love with you.

Anvil from Oblivon. Charming seaside town. If you forget the haunted ships moored in the harbour and the phsycotic murderer who lives under the lighthouse...

Nice shops though.

Whats wrong with phsycotic murderers? They add to the towns touristic value :D
