I'm trying to decide which of the 5 free games I want.

I don't have any of them, so they're all options.

I've played LBP before, it doesn't seem to be my cup of tea. I only played it for about an hour, but it just doesn't seem like something I could get into. Am I missing the magic?

InFamous seems to be an obvious choice, but I don't know if I'll have the time to play it. How long does it take to finish this game?

Stardust looks like something I can just load up and play whenever I want, even if it's only for short periods of time. This one is pretty high on my list.

Wipeout looks fun, but it's also a racing game... and I either don't like racing games or I play them a lot for a week and then never play them again. Is this any different?

Dead Nation is also pretty high on my list, but it looks like it might only be fun to play with friends. I don't know how many of my friends actually have Dead Nation. I'm also concerned that the game might lose it's freshness after about a week or two of playing, just like Alien Swarm.

What do you recommend? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate the help. ^_^

Even though the selection is laughably pitiful, i'd recommend InFamous and Wipeout. But yeah, it's a complete cop-out of a gift. Just sayin...

It sounds like you would enjoy Stardust (I was teetering between that and Wipeout) and I think inFamous seems obvious. LBP has a second version released, and I always figured that if I were to get interested in it, I'd just buy LBP2, and Dead Nation looks fun and all, but unless you had prior knowledge of it, I can't see a person enjoying it as much as Wipeout or Stardust.

Oh, and I think it must be said that Wipeout provides a heck of a lot more content than Stardust will. I think stardust has more replay value, but it's also drastically shorter, so actual play value to begin with should also be looked at.

But both choices are better than nothing, and will provide ample entertainment, so in the end it doesn't really make a huge difference.

I own inFAMOUS you could get through the game fairly fast if you go straight through the story missions, but it can last a while with all of the side missions and such, albeit a lot of the side missions.

Little Big Planet is pretty hit and miss for a lot of people. If you didn't like it too much in that hour you had to play I'd say go for something else, the custom levels on it can be pretty awesome though.

Wipeout is pretty fun, but if you don't enjoy racing games too much it'd probably not be too wise of a choice.

The rest I don't have a clue about, I have yet to even check out what Stardust is, but I'm probably going for Wipeout and Dead Nation or Stardust.

For me I would burn Onechanbara - Bikini Samurai Squad (Xbox 360) and watch it scream in agony as the plastic melted. The worst game ever!!1

I don't have any of these games either. Just sayin'.

OT: I was initially thinking Dead Nation and Little Big Planet, but uhhh...I think I'll actually go Stardust now that I think of it. Turns out, I rock at Shmups and didn't even realize it.

inFamous definitely. Little Big Planet is cool, but if you didn't like the game after the first hour it probably isn't your thing. I don't know much about any of the other games so I can't help with your second choice.

I would go for infamous and dead nation, I dont know much about stardust. Here in England we get rachet and clank instead of stardust so I think we have the better deal

I am competant at racing games and I cannot race in wipeout to save my god damn life! The turn are sharper than the craft allows. It seems the object is to go at silly speeds but when you do you crash a lot.

I am getting dead nation, I put it on the back burner ages ago and never got round to getting it.

I am getting infamous aswell 'cos I got prototype over it but didn't have the cash to buy this.

Stardust looks like astroids with a graphics update.

And it seems your not fond of LBP.

Whatever you do, don't get inFamous. It's a very bland third person shooter, easily the worst third person shooter I've seen in this console generation (and I've also played Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard: at least that game had some laughs and it knew its plot was utterly stupid and thus didn't take itself seriously, which gives it a couple of points over inFamous). It's honestly not even worth the free download, that's how bad I think it is.

It sounds like you want to get Stardust and Dead Nation, so just go with those two.

Yep, pretty much. Too bad you couldn't get Ratchet and Clank in place of inFamous rather than Stardust. Then it would be the ultimate better deal.

Go with the only two games on the list that were ever full priced games to begin with: LBP & InFamous (hated the latter, but most people really liked it). Also, feel lucky that you get such awesome choices just in virtue of not being European.

I'm getting inFAMOUS and Wipeout+Fury. I was gonna get LBP but I decided I would rather get the GoTY edition since it comes with 30 dollars of bonus content and literally costs like, 2 bucks more than the normal version, and get Wipeout in LBP's stead. I wasn't interested in Stardust HD because Bullet Hell games are not my thing, and I liked Wipeout over Dead Nation.

I got Infamous and WipEout. Played a bit of WipEout and thought it was pretty fun. Infamous is like 7k MB though so it's gonna take a bit.

I would trade my entire list of "free" games for a shot at the R&C games you EU folks get. R&C is my fav series on the PS3 and I feel shafted.
