There's lots to choose from, small and large and they've all created some pretty good games at some stage, but which do you think if given a chance you would enjoy working for?

I think I'd like to work at Naughty Dog, they have a strong fun, community and work ethic that I find admirable.

Nintendo of America. As far as I can understand, Nintendo treats their people really well, and if you're good, the pay is pretty good too.

I'd love to work on games such as Zelda, Mario and Metroid. That's an old childhood dream of mine. Furthermore, again as far as I can understand, Nintendo mostly has a "it's done when it's done" policy, which wouldn't stress one out too much in one's everyday life.

Should I be realistic though, I'd like to write for Blizzard. I love the Warcraft and Starcraft universe, and would be thrilled to be part of their writers department.

Seriously, no question its BIOWARE. They've never made a bad game (that I played). They've won multiple awards including Canada's Top 100 Employers so why not? I would love to work on Mass Effect 3 or Dragon age 2!

Bioware since they seem to care about their games.
Blizzard since they never seem to have a deadline.

Obsidian. They have such potential, they just need to work on those damn bugs, which I might just be able to help out with.

Probably Paradox Interactive. Nearby, I like the games and maybe I'd be able to convince them to finish their patches in a reasonable amount of time.

Bioware I at least would have family I like in Edmonton and they seem to have the most effort put into games that are released within two years of each other.

I'd say either Valve, since they're the industry's infallible golden boys; or Obsidian, for (arguably) being the second best studio that's currently active.

Valve, they have a knack for taking off the wall ideas like Portal and Left 4 Dead and fleshing them out into fully realized games. My crazy game ideas would stand a better chance of becoming a reality there than in any other major studio. Alternatively I wouldn't mind joining a minor studio before it makes its first hit and be on the ground floor when they make a name for themselves. Unfortunately there is no "Game studio that is going to be then next big thing" listing in the job adds on Craig's List, at least not were I am from.

Either Valve or MediaMolecule. I love to program, and I love their games, so adding the two together would be awesome.
