Which game do you think comes close to being perfect?

Portal all the way. It was short, but that was good. it didn't have time to mess up. Plus, give me one other game that that has dialogue so good you can quote it completely out of context and have everyone laugh even if they've never heard of it.

Okami, it's a little easy and there are a few too many loading times but otherwise amazing

that and Persona 3 & 4 but in his case it's a bit too hard
they are about as close to gaming nirvana as you are likely to get.

I would have liked more buildings to explore in Shadow of the Colossus. Yes, I know, the scenery is very pretty, but the bit #15 with the castle was, in my opinion, a missed opportunity. I desperately wanted to climb around the castle, to get up on the roof and run around the interior. But it was just a corridor. A corridor, a boss fight, back to the starting temple.

Okami. Put aside the fact that you fight the same boss 3 or 4 times and you have a game with innovative yet navigable gameplay controls, an interesting story, daring yet beautiful graphics and an amazing soundtrack.

Portal. No game has ever reached that level of near-nirvana. I never felt bored, it never felt too easy or too hard, the plot was never predictable, the writing was always funny, yet the universe was always very real feeling...I can only dream anyone will match that level of PERFECT that I felt while playing the first one again.

Maybe in Portal 2? I hope so.

The Halo games are close to perfect to me. (That MY opinion, if you disagree go write it somewhere else, this is not the place)

I also like MW2, but there is so many hackers and even more trash-talkers, so that ruins the game a whole lot.

I also liked Oblivion all too much, but even that had its dull moments.

Im gonna go with Duke Nukem Forever. Just havent found a single flaw in that game.

P3 is a must have for every rpg gamer. but the lack of interaction with the environment annoyed me. the Social Links are cool, but you can't do anything with that person anymore when you're maxed. which is pretty unusual "hey, now we're best friends forever so we don't need to talk to eachother again!"...

i also have to agree with tetris. still immensely popular today. probably still being played more than any big budget game.

Syphon Filter. In all my years of gaming, nothing has come close. Fun gameplay, amazing story and characters, awesome music, and graphics passable (but who gives a shit about graphics if the game is that damn good?).

Uncharted 2 - Great story, great gameplay, great voice acting, great sense of humor, and plenty of unlockables.
Resident Evil 4 - Let me put it you this way; I've beaten it 34 times.
God of War 2 - The most satisfying combat system in the series.

Well, I can't think of any flaws for Lost Odyssey. It's not my favourite game, but I honestly can't think of any flaws. The Soundtrack is amazing, the story is engaging and emotional, the voice acting is good, the graphics were good, especially for it's time.
Plus the gameplay was fun and challenging for me, and some parts genuinely made me cry and I'm a 16 year old guy!
