Which game do you think started Teabagging in shooters?

It's origins truly lie in PC shooters like Counter Strike. But thanks to Halo and CoD the action has been overly popularized and overdone.

Halo is the first place I really heard of it, but when playing DOOM over LAN there were other ways to drive a point home. Like hotkeying a message to each player that says, "I killed you."

Are people really upset when they get teabagged during a game? I think it's kind of funny.

Halo might not have been the primogenitor of that annoying tradition in the sense that the first incidence of teabagging was inside Halo, but it is definitely the game that "created" teabagging as a word in our collective gaming lexicon. Halo and douchebags go hand in hand, and only douchebags teabag. It's a natural synergy of stupidity.

I want to say something in real life .... Somewhere there will be a video of a soldier shooting another and think: If I put my testicles in that man's face, I may just become the most awesome war vet. of them all.

On a more serious note: I think it was probably Halo, or a game with ragdoll mechanics. Somehow the action progressed to the face, I guess it adds more insult to shove your genitalia into an opponents face rather than an unusually bumpy act of necrophilia.

I have to say though, I prefer Call of Duty where instead of just teabagging you cna lie down and rape the corpse. YAY!

You can indeed crouch, but it's hard as fuck to do, and it's best to not even bother.

Immature PC players? Sure. Elitists tho? Considering that PC was basically the spawning point of proper FPS games, and Counter Strike was probably the first really really big FPS that allowed crouching and multiplayer, it's only natural that it was the birthplace or at least the first game where teabagging occured. Also considering the amount of popularity it receives for teabagging, Halo clearly seems to have the vastly more immature audience and that stems from Xbox not a PC...
