Which game gave you the most playtime of any game you've ever played? (Besides WoW)

FF7- I've overwritten several saves with 40+ hours
Naval Ops 1- somewhere over 150 hours

I typically just rent console games, one of Valve's games (or Garrys Mod) would be my answer if I could just get a better computer.

i would say morrowind blows away all others for amount of time dicking around. my longest play time on one character is 430 hours... i have 6 characters...i am such a failure at life yet god of morrowind.

second is Saints Row 2

Would have to say Dungeons & Dragons Online with well over 1,500 hours, followed by Counter Strike with over 1,000 hours , and Fallout 3 with about 250 hours between four times through so far.

Yeah, same.
Plus COD:WAW because I'm on Nazi Zombies a lot, and just love trying to beat the challenges, getting new weapons, new upgrades etc. Plus I find the campaign a little bit addictive. Only certain missions though.

But yeah, it's oblivion for me, Christ knows how many times I've completed that game and I'm still totally hooked.
