I would love to see an AvP game based off the original storyline of AvP and AvP 2... though I haven't gotten to play through the new one yet, but I know that it's not the same story..

There barely is a story.

I would choose Star Wars Republic Commando. It was a fun game and the campaign ended in a way for a sequel to happen.

Agreed, there's not a lot of room to expand upon a story when the main cast has already saved the world or resolved all loose ends. Following up an epic quest with anything other than another epic quest feels lackluster. Save the world again is just poor storytelling, why wasn't this a part of saving the world the first time around, the protagonists clearly didn't do their job if it gets right back in danger.

At least the Legend of Zelda series, usually, had the good taste to lack continuity rather than having Zelda be as face-palmingly pathetic as Princess Peach. How she manages to continually get kidnapped is a marvel of incompetent royal security.

Mirrors Edge should get a sequel. The first one had the right idea but was missing something that prevented it from becoming a really good game. They were deffinetly on the right track though.

Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. I want more Kyle Katarn goodness.

Hell yes! I'd actually really like to carry on that story arc, it seemed like Jedi Academy had some promise for a sequel.

Exhumed / powerslave 1997 a brilliant and underrated 1st person adventure, a game ahead of its time, a forerunner untill Morrowind arrived.

Exhumed was brilliant, I think a revamp could be great.

EDIT: forgot to suggest something of my own. How about cybernator on the SNES? I'd like to see a giant mech stomping through some big industrial complexes whilst burning body-horror/cybernetic monsters with a flamethrower.

I can tolerate how you don't know that it is in fact a prequel to Ico, but please learn more about the up-coming Last Guardian.

I'll admit I havent been following this much but I did see a trailer for it a while back. And I was aware of Ico, just haven't played it I guess what I meant was I wanted to see shadow of colossus style fights again. Thanks.

Agreed, but unfortunately it will never happen because Nathan Drake shits way more money than Jak and Daxter could ever hope to rake in.

I'd like to see InFamous get its well-deserved sequel, but it probably will.

Ugh, is there like an anti-preorder option? Can I sign up to tell Sony and Sucker Punch that I will never buy that game? inFamous is probably the last game on earth that deserves a sequel.

Also, someone in here mentioned Mega Man X, and I agree as long as they do it Mega Man 9/10 style and go back to the original style (in this case, the 16bit SNES games). Unlike the developers of games starting a certain blue hedgehog, Capcom and Inti Creates know how to take a series back to its roots successfully.
