The Abrahamic God, as told by the Jewish holy texts. He was all about justice and fairness and all the good stuff, and was not afraid to punish the Hebrews multiple times for their transgressions, just as easily as He would other nations who did evil things. Love was more a tertiary thing for Him at the time.

This coming from a Christian who prefers things done Old Testament style.
I'd hardly call the God of the Old Testament just or fair, half of what he does is pretty despicable.

OT: Probably the sun. Heat, light, actual existence (even if it isn't a God), seems more rational to like than a hammer-wielding, oak-loving buffoon.

Athena, the most badass Goddess ever, aside from maybe Kali. Athena is so cool and I don't know why but she just is. She seems like a badass but also a resonable Goddess.

And I know people hate Athena because of what happened with Medusa, but that story has been changed about so many times. I never looked at Medusa as this innocent girl who was raped by Posiedon, I always thought she gave herself willinly to Poseidon. Either way Athena turned Medusa ugly with the ability to turn men to stone, so with that said, didn't Athena do Medusa a favour? I mean, no more rape is something right?

Yeah I'm thinking far too deep into this, but I love mythology.

Greek and Norse (minus all the white supremacy)

It's funny that the most believed gods (Yahweh, Allah) are the least interesting story-wise.

Wednesday, the way he was in "American Gods", because the only way to make Odin cooler is put him in a suit and turn him into a conman.

Oh, that's very easy.
Ba'al from Stargate SG1. That guy is totally awesome! You can't be a proper God without a sense of humour.

Bahamut from Final Fantasy 4. It's as worthy as any god mentioned here. It just needs a backstory and followers.

Well, I've always been a good fan of the christian god, even if I don't believe in it.

The guy/girl has spawned more art and literature than anything else on this planet, and to be honest, his tales are quite entertaining.

Oh what's that humanity? you want to reach me with a tower? WELL NOW YOU SPEAK DIFFERENT LANGUAGES, HAHAHA!

oh what's that humanity? you are behaving bad? Well why don't you drown a little? AHHAHAHA!

He is a badass and he has a lot of fun doing his job.

I'm pretty sure having the head of a jackal is the best qualification for greatest diety I can think of so I'm going Anubis. Loki is pretty cool too.

the abrahamic god... honestly where are his competitors... gone crushed or demonized, if one is to judge religion upon success the 6000 year history, and more specifically the latest 2000 is more than enough proof of his superiority. how much blood, tears, exaltation and sacrifice has not been given to him, the numbers are greater than any other religion.

still by virtue of poetic aesthetics i should mention other favorites, like athena the virgin goddess of wisdom and tactical warfare as well as single combat, born out of zeaus' head and bearer of the strongest shield in "existence" the aegis

or apep the serpentine personification of unrestrained chaos and nothingness, devourer of the sun, gods and death itself.

and finally augustus, deified after death, a son of a god known to exist and do great things, like his adoptive, and also deified before him
