I built a power rig for Vista in the fall of 2008 and it's been flawless, and I've yet to use a computer running Windows 7. The last OS I was happy about was 98, I've only used two OS' (for my computers) since. I always said that I missed dos, but I really didn't, I hated juggling EMS/XMS settings for games.

I miss dos games though..

I use a forensic OS for work, which is (slightly) based on Ubuntu, and I have a tower which runs Vista. No lie, the thing hasn't crashed, frozen, blue screened or anything, ever, and it gets daily use for word processing, media, internet access... I feel like complaining to Windows that it's in someway broken. I haven't had the full Vista experience XD.

Oh and I also use Mac OS X Snow Leopard on my laptop occasionally.

If it weren't for the fact that it's a pain in the ass to get games to run on it, Linux. Otherwise I use windows.
First post nailed it.
If games weren't an issue, I'd be ditching that beached-whale known as windows, and that Linux-based hand-holding garbage known as OSX, and I'd stick with the most customizable, most flexible, and FREE operating system known as Linux.

But games are a bit of an issue. So I'll dual-boot.

I'm an avid fan of Windows XP, I still have not found any reason to upgrade to Windows 7 (as much as I'd like to).

I like using linux OSs since I switched from Vista, eye candy such emerald and compiz effects help. Only problem is gaming on Linux is hit and miss, and it's still easier to just to install them on windows so I use windows 7 alot as well.
