I'm surprised noone said Death from Dante's Inferno I mean he was a complete push over and as far as Death goes he is at least beatable. Hell(lol) you even get a cool weapon from it.

Neil Gaiman's version of Death, from the Sandman graphic novels. She's a very sexy, rather perky goth girl with a sweet personality. Just the right kind of thing to ease your passing from one world into another.

Can I get the Valyries from Norse mythology, who come and whisk me away to Valhalla whee I might join my fellow Einherjar in waging eternal war alongside the gods?
Did somebody play Valkyrie Profile, or do you just know mythology that well?
The second one. I'm pretty well versed in Celtic mythology as well. Never actually had the oppurtunity to play the Valkyrie Profile games.
Obviously they come highly recommended. Personally I ended up getting a huge dose of tangential learning because of them (and because of that Norse has become my favorite mythology).

Monty Python's Meaning of Life's Death. "Englishmen, you're all so fucking pompous. None of you have got any balls." *American man says something* "Shut up, you American. You Americans, all you do is talk, and talk, and say "let me tell you something" and "I just wanna say." Well, you're dead now, so shut up. "

He is the Grim.....Reaper.....

I'd pick Grim from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.

Death from the Discworld.

If anyone reading these posts has read "Thief of Time", then you'll know why he is the best.

Maybe just have one last game of chess before I pass over, although I would have to remind him how the little horse shaped ones move.

"Darling, it's a Mr. Death. He's here about the reaping?"

Death of the Endless.

Because God damn it, if I'm gonna' be taken from this world at least it could be by someone I can talk to.

And yes, that is Lex Luthor in the the background.

After further consideration (and a good helping of inspiration from Twilight_guy's avatar), I've decided on the version from "Nothing in the Dark", an episode from the third season of the original Twilight Zone. Robert Redford played Mr. Death with dignity and compassion, and just a great episode all-around.

Gregg would probably be the most appropriate, since I think he handles video game characters. Him, or Komachi. Discworld's Death would also be a pretty good one, I think.

YOU REALLY THINK SO?

Uh-huh. I like Discworld as much as the next guy, so...

Death in the "dantes inferno" game.

Clearly, I'd just be able to kick him in the balls and steal his scythe. And I don't have a girlfriend to steal, so ha!

THIS GUY. Death from the show Supernatural. I love this scene of him so much.
