Ozymandias smartest man in the world would fix the financial side and we could just get Rorschach to beat up all the bankers.
Ah, but Rorschach is dead. He was killed in the late 80s by Dr Manhatten. Ozymandias could easily solve it though.

Ok if I'm going along the lines of the get in the rich superhero, who is owner of a successful company, or a mad tyrant ruler version. So to list the people in this category we have our resident Marvel billionaire, playboy and genius Tony Stark.

With obvious organisational skills, business credentials and a clear ruthless streak to get what needs to be done, done. In the case of Civil War imprisoning his fellow superheroes and former allies for the greater good, this possibly giving a demonstration of his loyalty to the law.
However this brings me to his flaws, headstrong with an inability to back down. Furthermore this could be seen as the law over morality situation, an issue that some British MPs seem to have problems with(see second home problems)

Next up we have Batman, billionaire, again of obvious business skill, and with large amounts of capital and business connections. Plus anyone disagrees gets a visit from Batman. Possibly he could however become a bit distracted as he does with his Batman saving people thing.

Victor Von Doom ruthless leader with a brilliant scientific mind, knowledge of occult and dark magic. What more would you want in a leader, well perhaps someone who won't terrorise you if you fail to pay tax, it's like bailiffs meet the Mafia. At least things would go well for government revenue.

So I'm all for Victor Von Doom as the experience of being under a totalitarian government would be enlightening if we ever survive it.

The shoveler
No way.
Long live The Blue Raja!!!

EDIT: (see above)No, it's the Shovler from Mystery Men
Thank you.

There's a villain called the Shoveler in The Heckler, but he's merely a brute. I was trying to remember what wacky indie comic was being channeled there.

Stephen Lynch FTW! Allright!
I love his stuff. Although I fail to see how Homeless man can do anything. he is, after all, homeless =P
Well, he would give money to people who need it instead of wasting it on say something like a 100 million dollar inauguration speach

Why does someone think that when someone is "homeless" they are "poor." You do realize that someone can be homeless and still have money. I have known some people to do this by choice.

Besides it is not HIS money he is working with now isn't it? It is the world's financial problems...not "Homeless man's financial problems."

Absolutely, if he can't who can? Maybe Darth Vader, he'll put everyone to work building deathstars.

P.S. You forgot Chief warlock of the brothers of darkness, Emperor of the black, Lord of the Undead And the Mayor of a little village up the coast. Always use all his titles or he might feel insulted, and you know what that means...
