Captain Rhodes - Day of the Dead

Try thinking about it from his view next time you see it. He's just trying to protect his men. Yeah he's a little pervy but for bunch of guys stuck in a bunker with one hot but bitchy chick for a long time they are doing pretty well *cough*28 Days Later*cough*. When it comes down to it he abandon his men but at that point who wouldn't.

Lucian - Fable 2

Although I don't feel he was the real bad guy of the game, it's Theresa. If you listen to his diary he says that she was the one who told him about the spire. When offered the chance to bring back his dead wife and child of course he takes it. He works his whole life trying to bring them back, just to get shot in the face by fucking Reaver of all people.

Honestly? I think The comedian. But I've been told I'd be The Joker. Which I like, I mean if your gonna be evil why go off the deep end; when you can ramp off on a rocket skateboard made of Mother Teresa's skeleton while eating a paraplegic baby?

Tough choice, but I would probably say Gabriel Summers-"Vulcan". He is essentially an emotional teen who was betrayed when he tried to be a hero, which rendered him bitter against everyone as well as having enough power to kill almost anyone. This was a bad combination to say the least.

I can't think of names at the moment, but I always feel for the 'villain' who is doing the wrong thing for the right reasons

Not a Mr. Freeze / Sandman (in the movie) -type, who's doing it for tragic personal reasons. I'm talking about the kind who wants to change/better society or, hell, is just a plain ol' vigalante fighting the corrupt system, but he's doing it wrong

Like batman, but an actual badguy

I found myself agreeing with VIKI from iRobot.

Otherwise I just like Scar, I don't know why.
That's a very good point - I found she was almost exactly like a benevolent Shodan.

But for me it's not just one villain, it's a whole lot of them - I was always intrigued by the Alchemists of Dirz from Confrontation. Sure, they're one of the major armies for the forces of darkness and they worship a dark god, but I don't really care about all that. What intrigued me is how they actually got there in the first place. They didn't just one day wake up and decide "Hey, let's be all evil and stuff!".
Of all the sides, I probably see them as the most human - not as they are now, but on the path they took to get there.
