Much as I probably should be, since I'm from a line of pioneering white people (Ever play Oregon Trail? That would be a game about my ancestors) who never actually owned any slaves to "crack" the whip at (unless you count oxen)... I've never been one of the easy to offend. In my early adulthood, one of my hobbies was "offending the easily offended", simply because I had that little respect for such people. Mind you, I don't do such things anymore... but I still have very thick skin.

Not at all. Though, it must be said that if my race had been enslaved for hundreds of years and that word had been used to demean my people all that time, I may feel differently. It is hard to be offended when the power balance is tilted so far into the ethnic majority's favor. It is a sad fact, but true that there is still much racism out there, and rarely does it damage white people, the vast majority of the damage is done to other races.
I've never been called a Cracker as I live in Australia and I think it's more an American term. I was called a "Gweilo" once by this dodgy old Chinese bloke and his mate outside a takeaway shop in Newcastle. I couldn't help but laugh to myself though - I don't understand any Cantonese (a little Mandarin, but that's different) except that one word which I picked up from reading Eric Van Lustbader novels as a teenager. As I passed these two blokes speaking Cantonese I heard the word and without thinking turned and looked at them and from the expressions on their faces they must've just about shit themselves thinking that I understood everything they'd just said. So much so that when I had to pass that way again fifteen minutes later they quickly shut up until I'd passed out of earshot. Despite the fact that technically they were being racist I still think it's one of the funniest things I've heard (up there with my Chinese girlfriend at the time threatening to cook a neighbor's dog when it wouldn't stop barking - just about pissed myself with laughter). On a more serious note though; given all the nasty words we have for Asian people here, I reckon I'm getting off lightly if all they call me in return is a "white ghost".
If someone here starts using American insults on me, that would just make me laugh at them in their face, call them a tosser (the dutch equivalent of course) and walk away.
Fun fact, if someone from Morocco calls a Dutch person a 'kass kop' (Cheese head, they are known for using that as an insult something) it's called freedom of speech. If a Dutch person calls someone from Morocco a *insert whatever insult you like here, no matter how strong/weak* it's racism.

No, and from what I've seen as a police officer when someone of a non-white race calls a white person 'Pinky'... well that's the way to start a fight. Other than it has to be more specific, like 'mick' or 'wop'
No, because all white slurs are awful. I do not mean in an emotional sense either, they just suck at insults.
I'm not so much offended by it, as I am annoyed to a stupidly high degree when people try to tell me being called "Cracka" or "Cracker" is not racist. While I can understand cracka not being racist in some sense, the being called cracker is racist all the time.
Sorry. Ain't ever been called a cracker. What is it with americans and referring to all us honkies in a single sweeping "white" term? I am white, sure. But I have no knowledge of american race relations. Race relations barely exist where I'm from. It's all nationality and the friction it creates here baby!

IMO it comes down to the intention behind a word. If it is spoken with the intention to insult, it is a racial slur regardless of whether or not its intended target is offended.
George Zimmerman isn't even a cracka, if anything he would be a wetback or something? Sorry is wetback still used I am not up to date on hispanic slurs. Zimmerman identifies as hispanic doesn't he? or has this changed? So why is cracka even being used?
