Who are the greatest game developers

I was thiking about the greatest game companies and had a mental block. My personal favourite is Valve but what are your's.

Sega
Konami
Ubisoft
Capcom

In no particular order. I do love Valve and Bioware and them, but I just personally enjoy those three more than the others due to both age and quality of games. Sega has been lackluster, lately, as well as Capcom, but I do love them.

Good choice. Also for Crash Bandicoot. Got that off the PSN and forgot how much of a badass series that is. They haven't made a bad game yet (all Crash Bandicoot games after the PS2 was released was not made by Naught Dog).

Since I've been ninja'd left and right, maybe I'll say...Zipper. Love all the Socom's they've made (and I even play the broken one Slant Six made...) and MAG is awesome!

EDIT: Shit, I also noticed no one said Blizzard, so I'll say them too.

They're definitely one of the best. Fumito Ueda's use of subtractive design(basically what you said) is simply genius.
