Well, I am supporting the team who does not kick a ball around a gigantic rectangle field and calling it "tactics".

Which is to, ultimately saying, none.

trust me, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay are full of tactics, as far as I know, however If you don't like soccer I can relate to that, since I never really understood American football and their supposed tactics.

Wow, I can't believe I'm the first to say Portugal...I pick them to win every WC, I just like their style of play and hey, they've got C.Ronaldo.

Since England is out, I'm rooting for Argentina, tho I still think that Spain will win it.

I'm also supporting Japan for the time being since I'm moving there in September and I feel kinda awkward not doing so.

Germany. (And i'm English.)
Same here, my good man. As long as they drop Podolski and get someone that's actually good in, they'd be up there with the better teams.
Ahhh I love Podolski. Bar the penalty miss I think he's been solid this tournament. I really really hope the Germans smash the Argentinians, who I can't stand.
Podolski has missed a fuckload of shots, he's simply crap and he doesn't pass, ever.

Still Spain, but when they inevitably get knocked out, Brazil will be my next choice.

Where are you taking the "Best Player" stuff from?
Because I think that is strictly subjective.
For example, Nakamura didn't do pretty much anything this tournament, Villa has been more acute then Xavi, Meireles dominated Ronaldo and Podolski was worse then Klose.

From the expectations before the tournament.

you can check them here, though they are in spanish www.ole.com.ar

I do agree with you, but I wanted to keep it as legit as possible so I used a database

EDIT: Probably not the best database since I actually had to correct one of Germany's world cup that according to that site was won in 1978, when it was actually won in 1974
