Where are you taking the "Best Player" stuff from?
Because I think that is strictly subjective.
For example, Nakamura didn't do pretty much anything this tournament, Villa has been more acute then Xavi, Meireles dominated Ronaldo and Podolski was worse then Klose.
From the expectations before the tournament.

you can check them here, though they are in spanish www.ole.com.ar

I do agree with you, but I wanted to keep it as legit as possible so I used a database

EDIT: Probably not the best database since I actually had to correct one of Germany's world cup that according to that site was won in 1978, when it was actually won in 1974
That info is awful.

Nakamura hasn't played, and Honda is their outstanding talent.

Podolski Germany's best player? Lolololol.

Their Ronaldinho "Fun fact" made me laugh, One of the best players in the world? Lol, maybe 4 years ago.
Feel free to make your own then, as I said, I used a database and not the best one, and those were the expectations before the tournament started.

Well since the US got knocked out of the dream run, I'm going to go with The Netherlands. They just seem like the Iowa college football team. Really good but nobody is giving them much respect

Netherlands or Japan for me.

No particular reason,I don't even follow soccer, but have never won it and I have recently played games as both of them on Europa 3 and would like to pretend that where I ruled from 1399 to the 1800s would go on later to win the cup because of my influence!

Or just because neither won, also apparently Netherlands is actually quite good. But I am good for anyone to win if they haven't won it before.

Nobody, as usual. I have friends from Argentina but they're a lot more interested in the world cup than I am. As long as the final doesn't end on those idiotic penalty kicks I'll be ok.
