Dude that's cool. I don't trust myself to be a cop tho. I have the same sense of justice that you see good Sherif in old Western. Mmm!

Sherif Akalistos: "You're coming with me scum, dead or dead!"
Criminal: "I surrender! I SURRENDER!"
Sherif Akalistos: "I never'd say i'll bring you alive."
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Sherif "The Bastard" Akalistos: "All in a days' work."
lol, i have friends with that exact frame of mind, its a good thing they don't give guns to cops in this country.
You and your countrymen can afford that my friend but I'm just a 3 to 5 hours drive from New York. That's justification enough to arm ours cop, don't you think? Seriously, we aren't a violent bunch but hunting is still current here. So, some of the citizens have guns and it wouldn't be wise not to give the cop the same privilege. They also wear a bulletproof vest but that is overkill here.

Man i laughed at the expense of the US almost all the thread. I should find something about other country.
I think English cops should carry guns tho, I mean 12 people got shot by a psycho a few days ago about 2 hours from where I live. that doesn't really make me feel safe tbh.
But here, we had a case where a kid started gloating to his friend before a Cop and he tried to steal the officer's gun. His partner shoot and killed the kid. So, who's better?

PS: BTW, those cop are seen as monster by the population, even if they did it to defend themselves. I would blame the parent, but I'll be the informed sane minority on that topic.
i agree with you, based on what i have heard, i would blame the childs parents, the cop was just doing his/her job. im not sure if all cops carrying guns is a good idea, but i think they should at least keep them locked in their car or something.

They can't really lock them. In a firefight, it would be as ineffective as to not having one. They just got a strap of leather that go around the cross and a button (you know, the press and pull type.) to lock the gun in place. That said, someone can easily pull the gun out strong enough to unbutton the strap. Also, we got biker gangs like the Hell's Angel which are packing heat so I can't blame them for arming all the cops.

My world is nowhere near finished. I have 10 diffrent notepads with weapons, races, deities, magic, timeline and so forth that needs to be written or cleanly written and then putted togheter and probably re-written again for a third time in order to fit. Not to mention that I might remove something that I feel doesn't fit, like recently deciding to throw away Orcs and Trolls because they do not fit into my world at all, or add something that I feel fits into the world and can justify the reason to why they suddenly appears.

Why are you so eager?
So? I can't really say mine are done 100%. And stop making a fit about it, i'm just proposing help because we can give each other input but my willingness is fading by the minutes. You could have said "No, I'm good thank you!" in the very beginning and we wouldn't fight about it now FOR CTHULLU SAKE.
I have a distinct memory that I did say that.
No you didn't and to really be sure, i reread all your post! ALL OF THEM! and the only thing you said that i couldn't understand is Fnar Fnar... whatever that mean.

true, i think it is safe to say america needs to reform its gun laws. if you have ever seen the michael moore documentary 'bowling for columbine' it shows how bad the US is in terms of gun crime, whereas canada has similar laws but is much safer.

I'm an angsty 14 year old and I'm just another stereotype! I listen to ... and System of a Down because their lyrics are as black as my heart.
System of a Down is awesome, how in the world are their lyrics "black as your heart"?
I mean, what? You sure are a stereotype. The stereotype of a completely ignorant 14-year-old.

But who am I? I'm the pudding you consume, the comb you stuff in your greasy hair, the controllers you throw around in frustration.

I can remember being this way for 15 years. I don't remember anything beyond that.
