Kanji from Persona 4 and Wallace Wells are pertty god damn excellent characters, although Kanji is pretty poorly handled due to the writers refusing to make an actual decision on his sexuality, not that him having an ambiguous sexuality couldn't have been discussed in an interesting manner, but instead of looking at what it's like to actually be unsure of one's sexuality, they just sorta try and walk away from actually making a statement on it. Wallace is also great, my friends often compare me to him which I'm not sure is really a compliment as Wallace is kind of a dick.

As for my favourites:

Despite me being a gay man, both these couples where very instrumental in my growing up and acceptance of my sexuality.

Also, another favourite from a show that really deserved another few seasons:

Marshall from United States of Tara, a really excellent character.

Thommas from Downton Abbey is great- sooo blatantly evil at first, and then we get to see more and more of what makes him tick. His predecessor from Upstairs Downstairs (I cannot recall his name at the moment) was actually even more interesting, but also more of a psychopath, and sadly had a lot less screen time.

Ray from Archer is also a pretty funny character, with some great lines, and also adds oddly (ironically?) a 'straight man' element, in the sense that he is the character after Lana that has any. Sense, I mean.

I like that their orientations aren't what make them great characters- but it does add to them, as all things do.

Strictly homosexuals, or are bisexuals also acceptable?
Because if so, Jack Harkness from Doctor Who.

Layfaette Reynolds from True Blood: "Hooker, I ani't in that [ghost talking] business anymore, I'm in the 'sitting in my bathtub and smoking a blunt' business, and business is about to pick way the fuck up."

It's more implied than outright stated, but I'm going to say Gus Fring from Breaking Bad and Leeron from Gurren Lagann.

Yeah, Wallace Wells is a lot of fun. I would say Dio Brando, but he's more bisexual, and the man who loves him is too boring to be a favorite of mine. Didn't know Venom was gay, but he's a cool character and the one I normally play in Guilty Gear, so he can get second place.

Also, Kanji isn't gay. It's not ambigous at all, the guy is never into another man. He just couldn't tell his crush was a girl because she wore pants and a hat, apparently, and struggled with his feelings for her. He's a good and funny and cool character, but he's not a great gay character. You're free to imagine whatever you want, but they never make his feelings a mystery. When Naoto isn't around, he's busy getting nosebleeds from seeing girls in bikinis and finding what he thinks is Yukiko's hair on a brush.

Naomi Campbell and Emily Fitch.

Fuck Skins Fire. Fuck it so fucking hard.

Also Willow and Tara above. Fuck Seeing Red. Fuck it almost as fucking hard as Skins Fire.

And Alex from As If, who may be the most normal gay guy I've ever seen on a TV show.

It is unflinchingly stereotypical, but I feel that Jann subverts any negative traits by fully embracing them and being one of the best comic relief in Valkyria Chronicles.

This guy. Although he's not specifically depicted as a homosexual, I love how it's implied, and he's 100% at ease with who he is:
I'm a wild pig!

Well Shore-Leave was already said so Im gonna go with a couple that is more implied than confirmed.

Its more of a fan thing although its as confirmed as is possible for what it is.

Probably Dumbledore. Shrewd and pragmatic and a bad mothertrucker with the wand. Also, he has a magnificent beard, and made half-moon spectacles cool again.

Dumbledore.
He's just so damn cool...in every situation. It's easy I guess when you're always stacking the deck in your favor

Obviously there's willow and Tara but i kind of don't want to think about that too much...

Actually i can't think of any in video games off the top of my head, beyond the ones that allow player influence choice, that's quite bad.

Beyond that Patrick Stuarts character in Fraiser is utter gold, but hell is there a scene he does not steal in anything?

Now characters who are not "openly" homosexual, but are hinted at or maybe just the imagination of crazy fans:
I'm going to be honest, I felt the need to avoid delving into the unconfirmed and the subtextual, since a list like that would pretty much involve magical girls from Madoka to Nanoha, lots of schoolgirls in uncommon clubs, and Touhou, lots and lots of Touhou.
That's why I decided to put them in their own section rather than just pick them. I am not really "counting" them seeing as they are not confirmed in any way.

0.10 Mb/s... I'm so sorry.
The most irritating part is that I only recently subscribed to Crunchyroll, which is the website that has Attack on Titan. It has a free two week trial and I began it on the day my ISP switched over.

Am. Not. Amused.

Even less so considering the company are trying to act like it's not on their end, and must be a problem on mine. Kind of odd that my internet was stable for the last three years though... must be a coincidence.

Oh well, rant over, they are sending somebody out next week anyway.

As for the Eren, I can say that after the current anime arc is over it starts focusing on other trainees a lot more, at least, it should. Oh and the blonde girl's name is Christa, Krista, or however the current person scanlating/subtitling it feels like spelling out the phonetics.
That's good to know. It's not so much that I cannot sympathise with him, I just find the kind of "Ragey thinks they are more capable than they are" protagonist kind of irksome.

Christa, that's the one. I have only seen one episode with both of them in and that's the one where she is helping "Potato girl" after she collapses from running all day.

Seeing as I liked the first few episodes so much I have bought the available manga too. The first five are available in the UK with up to volume eleven having a release date. So I guess I will find out soon enough.

I am also dangerously close to dragging this way off topic so...
