Who did you always catch in Pokemon?

A huanter. And I never traded him to evolve. He was way to cool as he was.

He was the bestest.
I used him to catch the legendaries because I always taught him mean look.

An Onyx, or Steelix when he came along. Always got a Haunter as well, and if I didn't start with a water Pokémon (rare), I needed a Gyarados. A Pidgey/Pidgeotto/Pidgeot was in the party constantly too. Ash's was just the coolest flying Pokémon.

Same. Maybe it's because Ghastly is so awesome, and so are Haunter and Gengar. Especially Gengar.

I really try to use different pokemon through each playthrough, just to make it more interesting.

Yeah? Try to get past the first parts in Red without catching Ratata, Pidgy, Spearow or Weedle.

Easy, start with Bulbasaur and you don't need another pokemon until Serge.

Abra and pidgoet. I always liked abra and kadabra and pidoets top evolve was awesome and perfect for fly (and was better to me than sparrows top evolve)

Alakazam is one of my favorite Pokemon, so any chance I got, I would catch an Abra. Whenever I'm playing Ruby or Sapphire, I also do my damn best to get a Ralts because I love Gardevoir.

EDIT: Also, Nidoking is a boss, so I always love having him.

I always had to catch Abra and raise him to Kadabra. I usually caught a Ghastly and Cubone as well.

I always get a Haunter. Despite that, my team is usually very diverse and always tend to catch different pokemon, but I always have Haunter.
