I want Skyrim, but I can't afford it rigt now. Maybe when the price drops. And even then, I might not be able to run it on my trusty laptop. Then again, it runs on a 6 year old console or whatever.

Please check a dictonary for stuff I didn't buy today, 'cause I bought nothing.

Whilst I didn't buy it today, I'm planning on buying it in two weeks when my holidays begin. That way the price can go down and I can have un-interrupted dragon-slaying goodness.

I didn't for two reasons:

1. I'm away from home and won't really get back to my main (gaming) computer until december.

2. I can't play 3D-games with spiders in them. Yeah, sure, it sounds laughable, but for me, it's really bad. When I happen upon spiders in games like that, my pulse just goes through the roof, with the rest of me just jumping to panic mode without any real reason for it. So yeah, unfortunately, that kind of ruins (unmodded) Skyrim for me (as it did even Minecraft, Dragon Age and many other games).

I bet you stayed away from the Australian spider thread yesterday, that terrified the crap out of me and now ill never even think about going to Australia

I haven't yet. Pretty much on the fence about it. Loved the ones prior to Oblivion but Oblivion itself was just awful but have read that a lot of the things I didn't like about it have been fixed or changed so I might *if* I can find a copy in town. If not probably no big loss on my part.

I didn't because:

1. My computer is pretty shite right now, will have to get a new rig to be able to use it with more than 4 fps.

2. I've been gifted/bought games that I can't use now that I will probably play before Skyrim, thus I'll wait for price-drop or steam sale.

Meh. I don't want Skyrim. If it's anything like Oblivion I doubt I will like it. Five years ago I bought Oblivion after all the commotion, gave it a fair chance (played it 30 hours) but then got really sick of it. This time I'll be more careful before shelling out another 60 euro's for a game I don't really want.

Maybe later when it's in the bargain bin and when all the expansion are bundled with it?

I didn't buy it and I doubt I will get it. I may play it when my brother gets it. Maybe. But there are so many other (and better, in my opinion) games coming out. I know that i'll certainly get more fun out of Assassins Creed: Revelations or Saints Row 3 than I will out of Skyrim. Despite this, it does look quite good. Just not as good as other games

I haven't purchased it yet. I'll probably get it at some point, the trailers and stuff all looked amazing, but all the recent hype has already made me bored of the game, so I'll wait a few months, besides, in a few days my whole attention will be distracted by another game..

You really had to make a thread for this? Really? Just to tell us you didn't buy something because you don't like it? I didn't buy a mars bar today. Why? I don't like them.

What exactly is a Mars Bar? M&Ms are made by Mars and yet I can't find any of their bars here. I assumed they're either big in or, exclusive to the U.K. and would really like to try one...unless they're just a bar of chocolate and raisins in which case screw that.

A Mars bar is a nougat and caramel bar covered in chocolate. They're by far and away the most popular and well known chocolate bar in Commonwealth countries.

Marathon's are still well know as well!

By the time I'm done with The Cursed Crusade and Sonic Generations AC:R will be out so I'l probably get that THEN get Skyrim.

Too many good games out at the moment!

I don't have PC strong enough to handle it. By the time I get one (too little motivation for me in spending 1000? on mid-tier unit) I hope there will be sufficient enough number of mods tweaking the UI and gameplay, just to match my whims.
