who didn't buy skyrim today

so i logged in today and can to lock at forums to find like 6 skyrim threads or more so a question came to mind am i the only person here that did't buy Skyrim cause i know I'm not the only person that doesn't like the elder scrolls games here.

It looks pretty good (except for animation and combat), but not day-one price good.

I'm getting Assassins Creed Revelations first, and Skyrim alongside TOR come December (due to the fact I am also getting "Revan" alongside Assassins Creed, and don't want to stretch out my budget too much).

i definitely wouldn't get it on release as a pc gamer due to their horrible run of putting out really buggy games.

Eh, it's not so much that as it is the ES universe. It never really interested me. Playing Oblivion made me think "This is like Fallout... with swords. Man, I wish I had a machine gun". I doubt this will be much different in that regard.

I didn't, but that's on account of family traditions forbidding me from buying myself "gift-worthy" items during November and pre-Christmas December. That said, I will inevitably receive it as a Christmas present.

Bethesda RPGs like this and Fallout 3 have a lot of appeal, but in both the latter game and Oblivion i only really enjoy to go exploring for a bit and get bored fast when it comes to actual quests.

What exactly is a Mars Bar? M&Ms are made by Mars and yet I can't find any of their bars here. I assumed they're either big in or, exclusive to the U.K. and would really like to try one...unless they're just a bar of chocolate and raisins in which case screw that.

As for Skyrim, I did not buy it tonight and won't be buying it today. I have it preordered but my girlfriend will be grabbing it for me...probably on Wednesday afternoon when she grabs my copy of Saint's Row 3. I'm out of state for a while so I'll have to wait until late next month to play my copy...

Exactly!

Somehow Fallout has a world I want to explore for the weird quirkiness of it all, and TES do not. I've tried Morrowind and Oblivion and both just left me lost and not caring to change that. Glad everyone else is so happy. I'll just wait impatiently here for Mass Effect 3.

A Mars bar is a nougat and caramel bar covered in chocolate. They're by far and away the most popular and well known chocolate bar in Commonwealth countries.

I haven't gotten it yet, because it came out five days before an important exam. Unfortunately, I haven't quite grasped the concept of 'don't have Skyrim yet therefore study like crazy' and am instead playing Dungeons of Dredmor and crying over the fact that the person who was getting me Skyrim for my birthday won't give it to me until my exam is over.

Yeah, that's right, Skyrim came out two days before my birthday. Feels good. Well, it would feel good, if I was allowed to have it now.
