My mother, anybody who's put up with me for this long, kept their sanity and done a good job raising me deserves a trophy.

Most certainly Nikola Tesla.

He had ideas that would have broken most people's idea of the world back then, just, completely bludgeoned it half past death with a sledgehammer.

His ideas were never really appreciated until today.

Florescent bulbs, wireless energy transmission, the whole lot.

He seems kind of like me. Never appreciated until far after the ideas came along.

Do you admire Hugh Laurie Mr. OP? Or House, who technically doesn't exist?
Both in different ways. House won't go on my list, but Hugh Laurie's already there.

That guy from the Dos Equis ads. If he punched me in the face, I'd be unable to fight off the urge to thank him.

Almost all of the people I admire are artists & writers, most of them work with manga or DC & Marvel.

David Gilmour and Steven Wilson I admire greatly, as far as music goes. I also admire Morgan Freeman for acting, Christopher Nolan for directing, and Carl Sagan for combining science with philosophical badassery.

I admire... very few people, to be honest. I respect them, and their achievements, but admire? Not so much.

However, I do admire:

Steve Conte. Guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. He's incredible.

I also admire our forums' very own Aylaine. She's always smiling and happy, willing to listen and puzzle out problems with you, and she's a good friend. I know she's off for awhile, but I do admire her very much and I miss her right now.

Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips, now you may be wondering why I chose him I did so for two reasons. The first being that hes the fucking man and the second is hes probably the most ambitious musician around because even though he has limited musical talent he still pushes the envelope and does so with success.

Kevin Butler.

I think I've replied Kevin Butler to like 3 different threads today. He's like the universal answer to everything.

HM The Queen. She does a job she watched kill her father, and does it very damn well. Working her arse off. Good for her.

No one. Though I did in the past. But admiration tends to make you emulate or imitate someone while it's more important to be your own true self and not be bound to any form of comparison what so ever. Not trying to troll here, just giving my opinion.

Victor Lucas. Starting up your own company, and then getting to have what I would consider one of the best jobs in the world.

Man, I want to be that guy.
