I remember Add Maths, mostly cause I have no idea how I got an A and my classmate who consistently beat me got a B... guessing you're predicted a high grade?
I never got above a D in the mocks for those and ended up getting an A. Spent the next few months wondering if my results had been switched with someone.

I've just finished university apart from resits next year, so I have nothing. But my younger brother has just finished his A-Levels, so he'll have his results tomorrow. Not sure what he needs to get into his first choice of university, though his insurance choice wants three C grades. I've no doubt he'll manage to get into his first choice, but he was joking how he'll be looking for clearing places or a job this time tomorrow, so yeah... :p

I get my AS level results tomorrow too. Apparently I'm supposed to be nervous or worried or something.
I'm most excited about seeing if my prediction of my results is correct.

I'm in Scotland, I got my Higher results recently. 4 As and a B, which is enough for what I want to do when I leave (there's no A+ in Scotland if you're wondering). Good luck to everyone who's waiting, I feel your pain xD

I totally forgot I get results tomorrow until today, I've been through so many damn tests I don't get phased by the build up any more.

Expecting pretty decent results for my AS's, I'm apparently Oxford material and the college is trying to push me into it but I just don't care for being academic any longer, pursuing a career in 3D animation sounds much more up my street thank you.

Waiting for AS levels too. Hoping for 3 B's (dropped Maths early, let's just not talk about it) so that my predicted grades for next year will be A's, and then I should meet the requirements to do English at any uni in the country pretty much (assuming I then actually get A's).

Not thought about them until now, and now I'm impatient.

Simple question, share your stories of fear, hope and expectation.

Myself, I've only got ASes to wait for - but as I'm going for Oxford, I need to get 90% in half my AS modules (both Latin and Greek ones), and you can imagine the effect that has on nerves :p regardless of how well I might think the exams went.

Discuss, pole vault or javelin to your hearts' content.
I'm actually not particularly worried, simply because the exams were so long ago. After that much time, I've more or less forgotten, so there's a mental disconnect. I still care about my results, obviously, but I just don't feel the emotion like I should.

Also, good luck with Oxford. I'm probably applying there too - but for law, not classics, which I assume you're going for.

Yep, getting mine tomorrow morning. Sociology, Business and Drama. So agonising waiting.

Need good grades to get into Chichester University. Any one else going there? I know it's a long shot.

I feel your pain - English Lit, History, Latin and Music, hoping for all 90+ but I'm just plain worried now...

I assume you're applying for Classics - any idea what college?

Yuppers. Haven't really been thinking about it, been too busy relaxing and not writing my personal statement.
Doubt I'll get the 3 Es I need. Best chances are passing Psychology and Sociology, but R.E is pretty much a negative considering how I was in the test. Oh well.

Why, thank you.
Though I must admit I am a bit worried...
I "organised" a pub crawl to celebrate, only most of the people going don't even have IDs. I can easily see it failing. :(

I am. I'm expecting really crap results. Nothing higher than D's to be honest. Tests never went well for me, not expecting these ones to have gone any better. Not really sure what I'm going to be doing when I get the results, especially if they're bad results.
Same. At least this way I guess we won't be too disappointed if we don't get particularly high grades, lol. That being said, I guess we can at least resit them.

Just gonna point out (because I'm a picky bastard) that Scotland (I dunno about the other countries in the UK) doesn't have A levels, we have... I can never remember which one A level applies to, I think it's Highers. So the correct title would be
Who else gets results tomorrow? (England A levels) :p
Haha, I live in Northern Ireland and we do A Levels too :p

I did Art; English Literature; Media Studies and ICT. They fit perfectly together but it's an ungodly amount of coursework and because of art, ideally one has no time to oneself unless said person is a notorious procrastinator *cough*.
Anyroad, good luck to everybody here!

I've got my GCSE results next week but I've got my IT AS result tomorrow. Not too worried as it isn't that important for my future goals and I don't think that I did too great either (expecting a C or D).

I am!

I applied to Newcastle and got an offer of ABB, so I need that if I want to avoid a worse University. I don't know if I'll do it or not. I can never remember anything about exams I've sat, even when I've only just left them.
I know what you mean. the only thing I remember about the bloody stupid General Studies exam (hurrah for the head deciding to make it compulsory![/sarcasm]) is that I completed my challenge. Conclude a question with "And that is why we should bomb Gaddaffi."

Aynho, I'm needing ABB to get into Nottingham. I'm moderately confident about maths and physics but music is concerning me somewhat. I had to resit the As paper because I got an E last year, so here's hoping I've done better in both written papers...

You guess correctly, I've been looking at a couple, think my first choice might be Exeter. I can't guess what you're studying from your subjects I'm afraid, what and where?
