Its a great game. But its not COD. And thats what puts a lot of people off it sadly.

The games are a lot of fun, its nice to see teamwork the focus rather than k/d stats.

Parkour is a gimmick but a useful one.

About my only current complaint is massive lag, but that might be my raped connection, not the game.

On a positive, as I picked the game up for £27 its not as bad as full price. Its definitely not worth £40.

Postives, it's realtively good looking, and the setting is intresting. The charactr custominzation is also good, but the lack of women is strange and there is only so much stuff. When you have a team going, it is great fun being able to work together and get the job done.

But on the other hand, Story is non exsistant, unless you listen carefully to every cutscreen and loading time. The weapons are bland and horrible to use, and the way you unlock new attachments is infuriating as the challenges you do have to be done solo and against the horrible AI. Your AI is retarded, the enemy AI is too good and overpowered, and there is no tutorial showing you gameplay. Thats the role of challenges it seems. Aside from being a little overwhelming and sorting out the AI it could have been great fun. However there is one last problem.

The lag is unbearable. It's worse then normal as you can still play, only to suddenly start lagging and then get killed because the AI took advantage of your connection. That or a player who's fine does. It's impossible to tell the difference. The lag needs sorting out, or Brink is going to suffer. I do appricate they have tried to patch it, and the news they are making the first DLC free because of it is welcome, but new DLC won't fix bad connectiveity.

Still, only had to pay £6, so I can't complain.

So far I'm really enjoying it, the parkour takes a bit of getting used to but once you do it's very rewarding, also I love the way missions are structured and you always have something to do.

The customization is very pretty also.

I quite enjoy it, but I feel there isn't enough content yet. Hopefully it'll will turn out to be a good investment after a few patches and some new content, though.

It's fun, but to be honest, I quite prefer Enemy Territory. I don't think they'll ever be able to top that game.

I like it a lot. I played a few multiplayer rounds tonight with some bros, and it was solid fun. Besides the issues that have been pointed out, I'd like to ask where is the lobby system. I'd like to be on a single team with friends, but instead I have to wait until others leave.

I'm still annoyed by the lack of of a lobby system.

It should be:

1. Set up lobby
2. Gather friends
3. Join game

NOT

1. Start game
2. Scream at friends to join NAO!

Otherwise yeah 'tis awesome. The customisation was actually good... I know, unbelieveable isn't it!

I'm thoroughly enjoying it, despite the obvious flaws, it's fun to play, which is what counts. Though I am disappointed with the customization (or lack thereof, especially if you bought into the claims during development). However, as I said, the game is fun, so I continue playing.

I think overall it's a decent game, but it shouldn't have been 50-60 bucks. A game that can only stand on its multiplayer aspect should really be less, but at least they're giving away the first set of DLC for free to make up for the unfinished feel of the initial release. First day patches don't bode well for proving you really put an effort into the game.
First - please stop complaining about price. games average 110$ in AUS (which is about the same as in american)

I personally thoroughly enjoyed the game so far, its currently at least as fun as TF2, but with some differences that i like.

I particularly like how you get more exp for helping allies then killing enemies. encourages teamwork that i have felt most similar shooter, bar tf2, lack, though it may even be stronger than tf2...

the game is purely about the multilayer and fun. If you have that, and like that, i can highly recommend it. Others may disagree. most the issues ive read (aside from story) seem to stem from console reviews.

Also i absolutely love the sound and audio, probably my favorite in any shooter for a long time.

Buy PC over Steam or something then. If what I'm reading is right you don't get the mark-up for digital downloads. I'm sorry that shipping and population and other economic factors make games ridiculously overpriced for you and I sympathise. Next time you get charged 380 bucks for going to the doctor for 5 minutes though come back to me.

Saw review of gameplay, witnessed samey FPS Rambo regenerating health BS, decided I would be saving sixty dollars for L.A Noire.
I mean really, we've been playing the exact same game for years.

Oh I do buy my games from steam, but most my friends dont or cant because their banking card doesnt let them pay online. My point is i paid about the same, the 50$ for it, and i feel it was more a bargain then the time i paid 120$ for call of duty.

Oh, and we do get charged quite alot for our doctors, though for 5 minutes that seems excessive - no exaggerating there?

I'm really enjoying it, I know it's a game I'll keep for the multiplayer and stuff.

Most of the points have already been made, such as the AI being complete idiots and making it hard to do missions on your own.
Personally I think the customization is fine, it's not lacking really (to me anyway)
There's some cases of bad lag but most of the time it's fine. People complaining about the lack of parkour are somewhat right, since you have to have a light weight body type to be able to jump off walls and stuff, which is understandable really.

But anyway, I really like it and I'm looking forward to more of it when they release DLC.

yeah im with you

i like the game and all, but the way they described the customisation you would think it was going to be a level of customisation never seen before, i was kind of dissapointed with the actual amount of customisation

Fair enough.

No exaggeration. Unless you count waiting room time, then it was more like 25 minutes. I went it, doctor looks in my throat, says I have bronchitis and sends me off with prescription. Didn't take more than 5 minutes.
