Gamecube was my first console game system, and I know some of the games I had for it were of the best I have ever played. I played Zelda: Collectors Edition, Spiderman: The Movie, Spiderman 2, Fantastic Four, Starwars Bounty Hunter, and many, many others that I am not going to take the time to list. Those games are some of the best games I have ever played; and while the graphics were not perfect compared to todays high definition graphics, it is hard to not look at how cool it was to go on and beat up hoards of enemies. I feel that some of them can hold their ground, even compared to games for next generation consoles like PS3, X-BOX 360, and Wii.
The Gamecube gave me some of my favorite games I have ever had, and even today now that I have a PS3 and acess to newer games, I will find myself going back and playing games on the Gamecube, because the Gamecube games are still a lot of fun. I think it really stinks that I actually had the Gamecube just when games began to no longer be made for it, but in the time I had with the system, I had fun.

Still play the GC every chance I get (which, considering work, school, etc, there's not a whole lot of).

I love my Gamecube, ever since I got it, it has been plugged in and ready to go, and I still use it regularly.

Ok so I notice that more than a lot of people I know bash the Gamecube. The biggest reason for this being that it had no good games. To this I call shinanigans. I freaking loved Smash Bros., Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, and Wind Waker. I even liked Mario Sunshine and that Starfox game with the dinosaurs. Don't ask me why I liked them but I did. So I wanna know, did anyone like something from the Gamecube?
Loved the Gamecube. It lived up to exactly as much hype as it generated--which was not too much--and so it satisfied my expectations, rather than ramping them up and only half meeting them (I'm looking at you, Wii).

I loved the Gamecube. It had a host of great first party games, including Metroid Prime which i still think is one of the best games ever made. Such a shame it's 3rd party support was so poor.

Even the promise of their excellent first party games couldn't prevent me from deserting Nintendo for the 360 after the Wii's release though.

IMO the GC was a step down for nintendo from previous generations, but I still think it held up against the cometition. I myself had a PS2, and I often found myself at friends playing someone else's GC rather than inviting them home for PS2 :p

KILL THE HERETICS... Ahem, Sorry about that my inner fanboy is trying to get out >_>.

-Super Mario Sunshine
-Mario Kart Double Dash
-GUN
-LoZ Collectors Edition
-Metroid Prime
-Star Fox Adventures (I loved this game despite its horrible reputation.)
-Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
-Soul Calibur 2
-Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door
-Metroid Prime 2
-LoZ Four Swords
-Super Monkey Ball
-The Simpsons Hit 'n' Run
-Time Splitters 2
-Time Splitters Future Perfect
-Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes
-Battalion Wars
-Turok Evolution (Yes I actually enjoyed this game =D.)
-Burnout
-Burnout 2
-Star Fox Assault
-F-Zero Gx
-Viewtiful Joe
-Pikmin
-Super Monkey Ball 2
-XIII
-Prince of Persia Trilogy
-Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg

Gamecube was fantastic. So much fun it was unreal. I probably spent literally well over a year of my life playing games on that system.

People bash on the GameCube because it lacked many third party games. Most of the games I see people liked were developed/published by Nintendo(first party company). The PS2 on the other hand had a much bigger software base of third party games not directly made by Sony.

But, I still like the GameCube.

I loved my Gamecube. Games like Double Dash, The Wind Waker, Spider-man 2 (I'm a Spider-man fanboy so I like pratically any game with him, but this one was particularly awesome) and the first Tales Of Symphonia are some of my favourite games. Now however I'm more into my PS3 for obvious reasons, but Gamecube is great.

There so few games on it that weren't sequels to N64 classics. Gotcha Force, Pikmin, and Animal Crossing are examples. Mario Sunshine was mediocre, and really, the Gamecude introduced Mario Milking with Mario Soccer, and 4 Mario Partys. There's a reason the console had to struggle to sell more than the Original Xbox.
