who here regets the purchase of a wii

Me and my group of friends have used ours basically 4-5 days a week since Brawl came out. We live in the dorms and play during most study breaks. Sometimes if we feel very lonely it is even a drinking game of choice. I could literally survive off of TF2 and Brawl so I would pay 250 dollars for either one. I played melee competitively and I play the local tournaments for Brawl so I might be an exception.

I dont own one, but I sure regret all YOU people buying one. Not only is it a piece of shit, but now its a popular piece of shit. Its starting to take away game that should be on other systems because of it... Monster Hunter 3 anyone?

Why is the Wii not deserving of Monster Hunter 3, exactly?

Because the entire series up till now has been a Sony exclusive game. Its kinda like releasing the next Zelda on Xbox only or the next Halo only on playstation. Not to mention the wii's graphics are barely better than ps2 at best and it would have been nice to see a true next gen hi def version of Monster Hunter.

After I'd finished Mario Galaxy and Twilight Princess, yes I certainly did.

The games the Wii has that can be argued as good are lite versions of mediocre games on the other two consoles. Or remakes.

Don't get me wrong, it serves its purpose well. However; a game-player's games console it is not.

So by that logic, any and all Final Fantasy games should be on the Wii, because they were originally Nintendo exclusives? Really now, is it all that surprising that Capcom put the game on the most popular console of the generation? Plus, the visuals are actually quite decent, as little as graphics matter. So overall, I think your argument is flawed.

EDIT: And for the record, it is nothing like launching a first-party Nintendo title on a 360, or a Microsoft owned company making a PS3 game. Capcom is an independent 3rd party developer, and can do what they see fit with their IPs.

No I do nor have not regret it. My only regret (As previously stated) was buying an Xbox 360.
