Who is the best Anime Charecter

Hard to say, but I always keep coming back to "The Dirty Pair", Kei and Yuri. Of the two of them I think I like Kei a little better. They are the prototype for the whole style of anime heroines, and i've actually read the english versions of the novels that got released, as well as Adam Warren's spin on things with his (US) Graphic novels.

There are a lot of great anime characters, but in the end I really think that nobody has done it better than two of the originals.

Hmm, my first instincts are to jump to Guts, from Berserk, but he's actually much better developed in the manga

Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass. He actually planed every victory and mishap to go his way. Seceded in what he desired to do, unlike Light Yagami from Death Note, and was intelligent enough for form an ideal blue print like Alexandre Dumas' Edmond Dantès. In my opinion, Lelouch is one of the best anime characters to have ever been created.

Byakuya Kuchiki & Zaraki Kenpachi from Bleach. The two captains you don't want to fuck with.

Haruhi Suzimiya because of her attitude.

And Chiyo-chan's "father" from Azumanga Daioh, because he can fly and he's bulletproof. Need I say more?

I was deciding between her and shana but then i remembered Shakugan no shana was also my favorite anime, and that i thought haruhi or the majority of her acquaintances would cover half this list

The last 2 episodes were... different. It's excusable to hate the series because of that, but they truly do make some sort of sense. If you haven't already, I'd suggest watching the movie End of Evangelion. There's debate about whether or not it's the ending, or just another ending, but I consider it to be a definitive end to the series.

I took both endings to pretty much be the same exact thing End Of Evangelion for me was just an acted out version of what happened in the last two episodes.. But goddamn how much I loved that anime!

Yeah. 25 and 26 were in the characters heads while EoE was what was happening outside. I still prefer the way Ep.26 showed Shinji's thought process to the way it was shown in the movie, though.

In the end how he sacrifices himself to create world peace was just amazing, he made everyone hate him so badly then got Suzaku to become Zero and kill him and only a few people would know what he had truly done for them. Everyone would remember him as a tyrant, I would not be able to do that. I would want people to know that I made a sacrifice for them.
